"Guaranteed to enhance your video part by upwards of 300%. The Hero™ will change you forever. It will make you do things, bad things…nasty tricks that you thought were impossible. Its secret is a three stage rocker design that adds buttery Scoop tips and the vice-like grip of Pressure Distribution Edges to an already ridiculously forgiving and nimble package. Slash pow, smoke the pipe, lock into rails, and uncork tricks that you never considered trying—this board is like a bike pump for your balls."

"Great park board" 12/16/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton The Hero LTD Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  flexible, not catchy, still poppy
  • Cons:  washies out due to rocker, not stable at high speeds,

Experience:   So this board is sick if you're stuck in the park hitting jibs all day but for booters it's not as good. This is better than the first models due to the features they added in the nose and tail to allow it to pop more and also they stiffened it a little more so it's nicer to ride. It's not as easy to catch an edge so let's say you hit a trick and land on the wrong edge if it's not too much pressure u'll get away with it. If you love jibbing this is a board to get esp since it's EST. :D

"Perfect for park" 12/1/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton The Hero LTD Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  lots of pop, burton,
  • Cons:  doesnt handle high speeds,

Experience:   This was the first all park board i owned! and it was the most fun ive ever had on a board. For as forgiving as the Hero feels, it carves like a samurai sword thanks to the added grip of Frostbite Edges. it is perfect the only downfal was it dint handle high speeds like i thought it would. but other than that i highly reccomend it

"Burton LTD" 7/25/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton The Hero LTD Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Great pop, Perfect for park, buttering
  • Cons:  Chatters at High Speed,

Experience:   I would have to say this is the most fun I have ever had on a snowboard. The flex is much more than my riders choice but I still feel fine taking it off of any jump Id go off with my x8. It's one of few rockers I will say that about. I paired it up with some exiles and locking into presses is no effort at all. Only problem is when you really pick up speed (flexible/rocker so go figure). You will feel every single bump you hit on the way down. Not too big of deal as it is a park board and not technically an all mountain. I will replace this hero with another whenever this one finally breaks.

  • Name: Burton The Hero LTD Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Park, Butter, Jibbing
  • Cons:  High Speed,

Experience:   I bought this board last year. Quite a nice board for Jibbin and Park. Not so good at high speed cause it's a little bit unn-stable. The prcie is ok, and I think is a good board.

  • Name: Burton The Hero LTD Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Light, Rocker, Buttery
  • Cons:  Semi-unstable at hi speeds,

Experience:   Just an awesome board. Slapped some exile ests on it and the thing was nasty. Got a few days at Stratton and in comparison to my gnu riders choice, it was lighter and had way more pop. very playful and easy to butter. everything they say about this board is true

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton The Hero LTD Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  great edge hold when you want it, awesome flexibility, v rocker
  • Cons:  can be a little sketchy at higher speeds,

Experience:   i love the reverse camber on this board. it allows for great float in pow, yet the frostbite edges give you great edge to edge control. the flexibility is great for jibbers and people that want to hit the park. the board holds edges real well, but when you get to higher speeds it can get a little sketchy, but what can you expect from a reverse camber board? its kind of a given. if you want a board that you can mess around with at the park and take it over the rest of the mountain this is it.

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton The Hero LTD Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Great Flex, Sick Graphics, Great All Mtn Board

Experience:   This board is a 3 flex meter which makes it easy to butter and jib. But that doesnt stop it from attacking all mtn. Great for the entire mtn. Great for medium speeds when i rode it at high speeds a little shaky but still good. Great park board. All around great board. Can't wait till i get one

"Your Mom's a Hero" 1/10/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton The Hero LTD Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Pros:  Fun,
  • Cons:  still have to practice to be better,

Experience:   I demoed this board out at Keystone last year. I had heard a lot of raving about it from all my friends so I thought I should give it a whirl. From what i had heard, i thought the board was going to ollie over houses and lock into nosepresses on quadruple kinks. That was not quite the case. It was fun, but i didn't come away feeling like a better snowboarder, or like the board was capable of magnificent feats. It felt like a pretty solid board, pretty similar to the other one i'd been riding, no more no less. probably just need to practice more and pay my dues.
