Sierra says: You can never have too many wax scrapers. If you really want to do the best possible job and keep a good even coat on the board you need the Tri Scraper. 3 sides give you 3 times the life! Small enough to fit in a pocket, just dont sit on it!

"Works" 2/19/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Tri Scraper Tool
  • Pros:  Inexpensive, Sharp,
  • Cons:  Shape,

Experience:   This is my scraper, it gets the job done, cleans the wax off of the edges nice enough. I also find the edge of the scraper sharp enough to clean the wax off properly as well as quickly. I think the shape is not ideal because I don't feel that it allows for the best grip or control of the scraper.

"Not the best scraper" 1/19/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Tri Scraper Tool
  • Pros:  Gets the job done, Groove on one corner for scraping edges,
  • Cons:  Triangle design difficult to hold,

Experience:   This scraper is not the best scraper I've ever used. The triangle design makes it difficult and tiring to hold, especially if you decide to tune more than one board at a time. The little groove on one of the corners is helpful in scraping off wax from the edges. Personally I like using the Dakine 10 scraper more because it's more comfortable to use, but that scraper doesn't have the little groove. If I had to chose, I think I'd still chose the Dakine scraper.

"tri scraper" 1/17/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Tri Scraper Tool
  • Pros:  solid plastic,

Experience:   i had been using a big lego piece to scrape my boards when waxing them but after i bought this.. man im a dummy. for people who think scrapers are a waste of money cuz u can use something else..dont. get this, it is thick so it wont snap and it scrapes off wax like butta and it has a little edge scraper for the edges of your board. for the price buy it and save yourself time and effort.

"Good scraper" 5/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Tri Scraper Tool
  • Pros:  Price, 3 Edges,

Experience:   Good scraper that gets the job done, 3 sides for more life and a notch to get wax off those edges. Price is a definite plus, you can afford to get 3-4 of these so you always have a sharp scraper on hand.
