Sierra Says: The most comfort out there. From its footbeds to its straps, the Triad EST offers the smoothest riding there is. The EST system allows your binding to be one with your snowboard; letting the snowboard flex how it wants to with no flat spots. The Extra Sensory Tech also helps give you ultimate board feel without compromising any comfort. We recommend this binding for the intermediate to advanced all-mountain rider.

**These bindings will only work with boards that have ICS in the product name**
** EST bindings do not come with mounting hardware. All mounting hardware comes shipped with ICS boards.**

Burton says: Go Rambo with the ultimate park slayer. With it's not-too-soft, not-too-stiff chassis and underfoot shocks, the new Triad EST cushions every inch of the mountain. Unlike your buddy's stock bindings, the Triad EST's SensoryBED creates an almost supernatural ride by absorbing impact, amplifying board feel, and allowing your board to flex more naturally. This results in the ability to command your board with next-level clarity while staying comfortably connected to the terrain beneath your feet.

  • Name: Burton Triad EST
  • Pros:  Responsive, Light, Durable
  • Cons:  none.,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I have owned these bindings for over a year now and they look exactly like how they looked when they came out of the box. They are super durable and show hardly any signs of wear. The buckles are perfect and 'do up' just like they should. I have no negative feedback on these at all. I will never switch back from the EST's, they are just amazing.

  • Name: Burton Triad EST
  • Pros:  Easy to setup and change, Sensitive to more,
  • Cons:  got a small,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   These were some awesome bindings, the feel was great and for me the highback was just perfect. The best part was when i was hitting up the park, i had a multitool with me so at the top of the run, i could change my stance to 12 and -12 real quickly, and for some groomers or pow i could easily change my stance back to my normal angles and try out new setbacks.

  • Name: Burton Triad EST
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Tons of padding, EST
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Let me start by saying at first I thought the channel system was just another way for burton to make their boards have to be paired with burton bindings. After using it I love the system. It is really easy to adjust (which doesnt make a big deal to me since I can go 15,15 duck stance on my regular bindings) but more than that, the bindings have tons of extra padding. This is by far my favorite burton binding. Does not have all the pressure points and is noticeably more flexible than the cartels. First thing I noticed was how light weight they were. They definitely aren't the most flexible binding out there but I do think they have enough flex for the park. I put them on my x8 and that is generally where I get the most use out of them.

  • Name: Burton Triad EST
  • Pros:  Comfy Straps, Easy to Adjust,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   These bindings are awesome. I haven't rode a better binding. The footbed gives you a very cushioned ride and you hardly know the straps are on your foot. I loved these so much on my old board I had to get another pair for my ESP board. The adjustment windows in the base are great.

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Triad EST
  • Pros:  Comfy straps, EST,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I bought these to go with my ICS Burton board and I love the ICS/EST combo. If you are one to tweak with your stance a lot or need to change it for different riding conditions throughout the day these are a breeze to switch. The straps are also really padded and extra comfy as well as the baseplate.

"Good but expensive" 5/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Triad EST
  • Pros:  Adjustable, Comfortable,
  • Cons:  Pricey,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Tried these when getting my first EST/Channel set up, while being a solid binding I found they were far too similar to the Cartel ESTs and that the extra 50 dollars over the Cartels was hard to justify.

"great binding" 3/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Triad EST
  • Pros:  comfortable, adjustable (especially with ICS system), light
  • Cons:  the fake leather material isnt super durable,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   great binding overall. highly recommended. i have this with a burton custom. very comfortable, easy to put in/take off. ics system is great for adjusting. only gripe is the material used for the straps is not the most durable (its some fake leather kind of material). it frayed a little after 10 days riding. doesnt affect performance, but expected a little more for the price in this regard.
