"Great boot for the price" 2/3/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Tribute
  • Pros:  Mid-flex, warm, responsive
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  9
  • Boot Size:  9

Experience:   These are a great boot for the price. I don't think you can find a better boot for under 100$. They are warm with a medium flex. Also they are very responsive, which is great for glades. Weaving in and out of trees is very easy with these boots and a good board.

"Great Value" 1/20/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Tribute
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Warm, Value
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  11.5 or 12
  • Boot Size:  11.5

Experience:   While this boot is clearly not the top of the line, and is fairly basic - it does provide a great option for someone who is looking for a no nonsense boot at an affordable price. For the price you can get these for, I don't know why you would get anything else. The boot provides nice support and is pretty responsive (I mostly just freeride). It is a decently warm boot (I ride in fairly cold conditions in the midwest) and is very comfortable. It fits pretty true to size. Overall, I'd definitely recommend these to a newer rider/someone looking to get into the sport.

"Burton Tribute Boots" 1/1/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Tribute
  • Pros:  Good first time boots, Cheap, Affordable
  • Cons:  fit was a little tight,
  • Fit:  soft
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  9.5
  • Boot Size:  9

Experience:   These were the first boots I owned. I felt like they fit a little narrow or small. My feet hurt a little after riding with them. Inexpensive and good for beginner riders. Would probably recommend other boots though.

"Great Boot, Better Price" 10/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Tribute
  • Pros:  Warm, True fit,
  • Cons:  Slightly flexy,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  10
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   I've been riding with these boots for 2 winters now and not once have my feet gotten cold. These boots are slightly flexy, but I can still get the response I need from them. I wish they did a little bit better job at limiting my ankle movement but they are true to my foot size. What you can't beat about the Burton Tributes is their price!

Experience:   I think these boots best fit a beginner to intermediate snowboarder. These boots are very comfortable. They are good for cold days because they are very warm. Overall these are a great pair of boots for an even better price.

"Decent Boot" 7/20/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Tribute
  • Pros:  Cheap, Warm,
  • Cons:  Pressure Points,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  10
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   I started snowboard last winter, so I picked up a cheap snowboard/bindings online and went to Dick's to get a pair of boots. The Burton Tributes were $99 and they had my size, so even if they weren't the best fit, I was going to buy them. They were a little tight but I heard that boots open up once you start wearing them a little. They fit perfect now that i've ridden 20 times or so. A TINY bit of heel lift. I do get the pressure point right by the ankle strap just like a few other people said. At first I thought it was the boot, but I upgraded my bindings from these old 1990 era bindings with hard ankle straps to 2010 Burton Cartels. After switching to the Cartel's, I don't really have the pressure point problem anymore. Its slight. I've ridden 8am-8pm on days before, taken off my boots, and my feet feel great. Good beginner boot. If you were going to spend $60 dollars + shipping on these, I'd honestly go buy a pair thats around $100 dollars and get a better boot + free shipping.
