"Good board, wrong size for me" 1/17/2011
Helpful Review?   (3) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Burton Twin Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Durable, Good for carving, Great edge grip
  • Cons:  Stiff,

Experience:   I picked this board up as the first board I owned for $120. I thought that 157 cm would be the right size for me, but it wasn't. I thought the board would be great for butters, but I was wrong. It was super stiff, which is good for progression, but not for a park board. I snowboard all of the mountain, from the groomers to the park to the backcountry. The board worked great in the occasional powder and worked amazingly in northwestern crud and slush. I am now looking to replace it because I need a board that is more flexible, so I can work on my park snowboarding. Overall the snowboard is very good for most of the mountain, but could use more flex for the park.

"Pretty Solid All Around" 9/26/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: Burton Twin Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Stable, Good Carving,
  • Cons:  Not Really Flexible,

Experience:   My buddy had me borrow it before my new board came in. He and I are the same size which helped. All in all, I thought the board was pretty solid on making cuts and got some decent speed going downhill. It wasn't as flexible as I would like but still got the job done for a couple days.

"Good Board" 3/3/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (3) No

  • Name: Burton Twin Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Very Stable, Fun to just mess around on,
  • Cons:  Not too flexable,

Experience:   This was my first board I got. It was very easy to learn on and was not jumping all over the place when going over small bumps. Fun board I would recommend it.

Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Burton Twin Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  solid ride,

Experience:   this is described as a park board but i feel like its more of a board to just cruise with. you would think it would be soft or even flexible but it actually is quite stiff. i tried the 151. it was a fun ride but seemed not very forgiving.

"Twin All Moutain Shredder" 10/28/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Twin Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Light, great shape, nice pop., Stiffer than you would think.,
  • Cons:  non,

Experience:   I own the Warhol 157 soup cans. Has a nicer topsheet than the stock model making it a little stiffer but still has a great flex pattern. Mine has held up great, is fast and dependable. Surprised how well it rides almost anything.

"all mountain board" 3/4/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Twin Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  carving, durable, stable
  • Cons:  stiff,

Experience:   I tried this board out and it felt really nice carving down the mountain side. It is a relatively stiff board so it was great at high speeds when bombing down hills. This board had really great edges to help out with carving, and it performed well on icier terrain (socal conditions). However, this is not a park board as it is very stiff. So if you are into doing butters or hitting the park, this board is not recommended. But overall, a solid board if you enjoy cruising down hills at low or high speeds.

"Nice twin" 1/27/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: Burton Twin Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Great for switch riders, poppy, great for park
  • Cons:  Not a good board for speed,

Experience:   I love my twin but I'm always left behind when riding with my group of friends. Not a good board if you are a speed demon but great if you love the park and are a switch rider.

"Burton Twin review" 12/1/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Twin Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Outstanding in the park, Very poppy and responsive , negative profile core
  • Cons:  Sketchy at high speeds, Not as flexible as you think,

Experience:   Okay, I purchased this board last year. The Burton Twin is a true twin, which means the nose of the board is basically copy and pasted to the tail of the board. The twin has a midflex rating at 4/10 which is a little stiffer than most ideal park boards since this board is supposed to be made for more than just the park. It is twin shape and twin flexible making switch riding, and switch jumps easy. The board is mainly designed for park but can shred all over the rest of the mountain. This board takes some getting used to if you are new to snowboarding or switching from an old board, but it is well worth it. If you are seeking to get this board I highly recommend the burton mission bindings and freestyle boots with this board. Hope this review was helpful and hope to see you guys out on the mountain shredding!
