Sierra Says: Some if the industry's best riders like Gigi Ruf, Romain DeMarchi, Danny Davis and Jp Solberg, have spent the last few years designing, testing and fine tuning this freestyle machine. A Transworld Goodwood winner, The 2009 Burton Un Inc is made from the finest parts that Burton has to offer like Dual Density Triax Response Fiberglass and Carbon I-Beam and a Park Fly III core. Light weight, strong but responsive as a Porshe. A twin shape you will never suffer switch give you freestyle control. An All-mountain flex, like a stiffer tail, gives you the power to stomp huge airs and drops with style. Match The board with the est bindings and you can't have a finer product. This coalition limited board is a must have. Don't miss out.

"Best I've ridden" 2/12/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Un Inc
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Park,Powder,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Stable at speed, incredibly poppy, all mtn killer,
  • Cons:  discontinued, not everyone will like the graphics,

Experience:   I just picked up a 2009 Burton Un Inc 161 and rode it for the first time yesterday. Holy crap that thing is fun!!! Ridiculously poppy and super easy to carve. I felt super confident doing anything on this board. My favorite type of riding is all mountain freestyle. I love popping off of natural features and bumps all the while going as fast as I can. After trying a few boards this season the Uninc is the best. I first tried a Burton T6 162 which was good and super fast and stable, but it broke while landing a 35ft jump. Then I got a Capita Sierrascope 156 which is really fun, but not stable at speed which is probably because it's on the short size for me (6ft 200lbs). Now I have found my 1 do-it-all (and do it well!!) board. The 2009 Un Inc is stiff enough to make it super stable going fast, but flexy enough to butter with no problem. It also has TONS of pop for doing ollies off anything you can find. You can pick one up for not too much $$, but if you want the Un Inc you have to hurry because it is discontinued. Sierra does have some in stock right now though. Buy one now!!

Experience:   This is a very good board for people who know what they are doing. If you play tennis, it's like playing with federer's racquet. You may not use it to its potential, but it will punish and teach you how you are suppose to do, do it the right way.

"King of Pop" 2/11/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Burton Un Inc
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Park,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Super poppy, mid flex to do it all,
  • Cons:  Liveliness makes chop turn knees to jelly,

Experience:   I've been eyeing up the UnInc line basically since I started snowboarding, and with the addition of some slightly wider waist widths in the piggies final year, I decided it was time to get my pig on. The Uninc is a killer mid-flex board that can handle the whole mountain. The pop on the uninc line is legendary, and this year was no exception. This thing rockets off booters and is super stable in the landings. The flex changed up in the 09 line to be a little softer overall but a little stiffer in the tail to keep that pop, allowing the board to still kick the super ollies but retain the buttery goodness. My only complaint on the Uninc is a personal one, and thats that riding this paired up with my UnInc ESTS, all the liveliness of the board and lack of dampening means my old man knees take a beating in the chop.

  • Name: Burton Un Inc
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Park,Powder,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  super light, fast, responsive, Quality made, one to collect, show stopper Discontinued,
  • Cons:  no more UN INC...,

Experience:   I have the 159 and it is super sweet I bought it in the summer of 09 once I figured out it would be discontinued. I was a little hesitant to ride this board due to the fact that I didn’t want to hurt it. we had some fresh snow and I decided to gif it a try and it totally blew my sox off this is truly one of the best boards I have ever ridden at slow speed it feel super buttery and has a constant flex but at higher speeds it stiffens up and is super responsive. I noticed the first thing off jumps my Ollie was greatly improved and I was able to pull of grabs and spins better than ever, the swing weight is simply amazing it is so effortless and crazy. It’s too bad that this model is discontinued it truly is one of the best boards of all time.

"Un Inc 157" 5/18/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Un Inc
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Boxes,Carving,Groomers,Jumps,Rails
  • Pros:  Easy to carve, poppy, Stable at high speeds, Popular model, Strong edgehold, Great value, Popular on mountain, Well known brand

Experience:   The last year this board will be under the UnInc name. Expect a replacement for coming seasons under a different title. This is the board of choice for me for throwing down on the big booters. It is a medium flex board so that you can flex it out when needed, but will hold up when you need it at high speeds. The directional flex, tail is a bit stiffer than the nose and twin shape make for a good combination while charging switch and regular. This is my top Big Air board of the Season!! And it glows in the dark, so it is the board of choice for all those night shoots...

"09 Burton Un..inc" 1/24/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Un Inc
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Park,Powder,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Edge Hold, Graphics, Pop
  • Cons:  None,

Experience:   I got this board as an alternative to my monster all-mountain/freeride 167 Custom and I could not have made a better choice. This thing can handle any terrain with ease and really holds an edge on the ice. The board is super poppy in either directions and glides across park features with ease. I definitely think that every snowboarder needs an Un..inc of some kind in their arsenal, especially a sweet 09 glow in the dark one. Get it!

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Un Inc
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,High Speeds,Jibs,Jumps,Low Speeds,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  flexible enough for butters, stable, great for jumps and jibbing

Experience:   I've owned this board for over a year now and it's the best board I've ridden. It's a very dynamic board and can be used for mostly anything you want. Jibs, buttering, jumps, speed runs, etc. Although I'm not the most experienced rider, it is very forgiving and good for the beginner rider too.

  • Pros:  Fast, Poppy, Excellent Control
  • Cons:  No Longer Made,

Experience:   Absolutely one of the best boards you can find in a twin/directional shape. It has massive pop, it's super light and ultra fast. I absolutely turn to this board whenever I need something all purpose, I'm just sad that it's no longer made and the Uninc team was disbanded from Burton.

"Best board I've ever owned" 6/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Un Inc
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  High Speeds,Off Trail,Park,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Great all-around, awesome camber board, Soft enough to press, but not too soft, Stupid sick graphics
  • Cons:  Its an old board, tough to find, Does not glow in the dark well enough,

Experience:   You will be sorry with the Un inc. I think it is exactly what you are looking for, if you are a more aggressive rider, who still wants a playful board. It is more forgiving than many other camber boards I've ridden, and holds an edge really well...everywhere. Don't pass it up, I there is only a 160 left, and if it'll fit snatch it up! Im 5'8'', 155 and ride a 157. Dope board.
