Capita Horrorscope FK

Sierra Says: Introduced midway through last season, the Capita Horrorscope grabbed the jib scene by the balls. The 2010 version is slightly stiffer in flex, but still holds its buttery soft reputation. This board is built specifically for the jib park and urban features. The three-stage reverse-camber design and Flat Kicks on the nose and tail give you the ability to lock into every press and maximize your style.

Capita Says: The Horrorscope FK was born as a late release limited edition board for 2008 and the entire global retail allotment sold out within hours of its release. The demand was so strong we made an extra run of boards for our favorite shop employees, and have now added two new wide boards to the line up for 09/10. The reverse camber Flat Kick application means two things: one: Pre-loaded positioning for expert level jibbers, and two: easy turnin', mindless shreddin' for those intermediate riders that want to expedite the learning curve. The Horrorscope FK: TAKES NO EFFORT! STABLE AT HIGH SPEEDS! PERFECT FOR HANGOVERS! JIB LIKE A MAD MAN!

  • Name: Capita Horrorscope FK

  • Use:  Boxes,Rails
  • Pros:  Flex, Graphics,

Experience:   I've been wanting this board since the 09 one came out. Finally got a chance to pick up a 155 when sierra had their 30% off 2010 stuff. I LOVE THIS DECK!! I have a size 9.5 boot, and the 155 is perfect. Don't need the W. Super soft and boxes love this board. Coming from an all mountain board, this thing tears up the entire mountain from kickers to groomers to boxes and rails. I would recommend it to EVERYONE

"Reverse Camber Heaven" 12/23/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Capita Horrorscope FK
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Boxes,Rails
  • Pros:  Very soft, FK keeps the board poppy and I mean friggin POPPY, great value for the price

Experience:   I bought this board without being able to demo any reverse camber boards and I had never previously ridden Capita. All I have to say is that this is the sweetest park board I have ever ridden. The FK keeps the board poppy and you can butter til you run out of tricks. This board is also great value for the price you pay, plus Capita is built in Austria which is awesome! Press and butter like crazy pop off everything.

"Extremely Fun" 12/13/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Capita Horrorscope FK
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,Groomed,Jibs,Jumps,Low Speeds,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  Surprisingly stable for a park board, butters and flexes super easy, fairly cheap for reverse rocker
  • Cons:  not the best for deeper or powder conditions,

Experience:   I initially bought this board thinking it would be a great jibbing and park board, but unstable off jumps or at any good speed. Thankfully I was pleasantly surprised at how stable it was at fairly high speeds. I wouldn't go as far as to call it an all-mountain board, but it certainly performs well all over the park. I've never had as much fun snowboarding than on this board.

"Capita is definitely on to something" 11/17/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Capita Horrorscope FK
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,Groomed,Jibs,Jumps,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Really fun, Poppy, Versatile
  • Cons:  NONE,

Experience:   Oh my god I'm completely in love with this board! It's the perfect board for someone who loves park, but also likes to take their freestyle tricks all over the mountain. Ground tricks are a breeze, the board is so easy to manipulate it's disgusting. The FK has a nice loose feel, and the pop is much more comparable to that of a skateboard. I love this thing, if I had to have only one board it would be a toss up between the Indoor Survival FK and the Horrorscope. Capita got reverse camber right, even Ride is copying the FK design now!

"This board DEVOURS" 10/7/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Capita Horrorscope FK
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,Halfpipe,Jibs,Jumps,Low Speeds,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Sick graphic, Reverse Camber, lots of pop
  • Cons:  Stiffer than last year's,

Experience:   This board devoured my mind. Though stiffer than last years, you can still spread butter all over the slopes. So much pop, im suprised the board didn't split in half. GET IT!

  • Pros:  Uber flexy!, Lightweight!, EXTREMELY Poppy!
  • Cons:  Dings and chips easily,

Experience:   Looking for a new park board? One thats super flexible but still super poppy? Look no further! The CAPiTA Horrorscope FK is the board for every park rat on the mountain! I've used mine all this season so far, and have used it on every part of the mountain! This board can press like no other and still handle the booters! Stable at high speeds and can pop over those SLOW signs! This board is reverse camber the right way! FK YEAH!!!

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: Capita Horrorscope FK
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Rails
  • Pros:  one of the best jib boards,
  • Cons:  and thats about it,

Experience:   this board is a noodle. made for jibbing doesn't really have any pop a good board for buttering on the groomers and jibbing boxes and rails ect. it holds a pretty good edge for a rocker mainly because of the flat kick tech. not a good board for people who like going all mt. and the graphic on this one is terrible.
