Sierra Says: The title says it all! Not all of us have a personal Sherpa to carry our 10 different snowboards. If you are like me, you live in a one-bedroom apartment where there is limited closet space. The secret behind the Quiver Killer is a universal shape that floats in powder, charges and speeds, yet still spins a 360 at the bottom of your run. This snowboard is on the stiffer side and compliments that power intermediate to expert level snowboarder?s demands. Have you ever snowboarded at Whistler or Squaw Valley? This is where you need the Quiver Killer because the scope and terrain change every few hundred feet. Save money for lift tickets and celebratory beers?buy the Quiver Killer.

Capita Says: With so many different board designs on the market today, many shredders are sharing lustful thoughts of a personal board quiver. I?m sure we?d all like to have a closet full of snowboards, each with different shapes to address that particular day?s riding style. Unfortunately that?s not reality for most of us, and luckily, now it?s not a necessity. If you ride everything and can only get one board this year, the CAPiTA Quiver Killer is for you. Hailed as a 2x Transworld Top Five Pipe Good Wood award winner, the Quiver Killer needs no warm up period. Comfortable and stable out of the box while still quick edge to edge, these boards can handle anything the mountain can dish out. And, with a price tag hundreds of dollars less than it?s Good Wood peers, these boards are undeniably the best high performance product for the price, industry wide.

Base color may very.

Positive Camber: The traditional way a snowboard is made. They turn faster and pop harder than FK boards.

Directional Shape: Directional snowboards have more nose than tail. The advantage of Directional is increased stability and float in powder. Don’t worry, you can still ride switch.

Flex Rating: 7 for advanced riders who are riding bigger mountains and bigger features. Stiffness is the key to go bigger and land with smooth style.

SS SELECT Core: Meat and potatoes wood core designed to handle the abuse of 100 shred seasons.

  • Pros:  Light weight, Durrable, , great for jumping, fast, Price, It's a CAPITA!!!
  • Cons:  ?,

Experience:   The capita quiver killer is exactly what it says it is, this is a true all mtn quiver board. Back in when it won a tws good wood award back in 08 it is just as good as boards that were twice its price point. This is a super good quality board and performance is similar to a custom x or other high end boards. This can handle everything, if you are looking for a stiffer board to ride this is for you.

"QUIVER KILLER!" 10/20/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Capita Quiver Killer ATV Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Park
  • Pros:  Stiffer from nose to tail, making it a stable ride, Quick edge to edge,

Experience:   Just like what the board is called QUIVER KILLER! This is your all mountain board that will take over everything because you won't need anything else. With the stiffer nose to tail, this board is very stable when you want to bomb the entire mountain. Still soft enough to be playful and take it to the park, just bit more effort to hold the press for butter.

  • Pros:  Great at high speeds,

Experience:   I only got a few days in on this board at the end of last season. Overall I liked it a lot. Set up with union forces its super responsive and is great for what it's for - big mountain riding. It's got nice pop and was great popping off natural obstacles but the board is a little stiff for the park and definately isn't a park board. It's decent in powder and decent in the trees. Overall its a great board for the money and should be considered with much more expensive all mountain boards.

"Great value for money" 8/17/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Capita Quiver Killer ATV Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  High Speeds
  • Pros:  responsive/stiff and great edge hold, cool graphic, looks nice, very cheap
  • Cons:  hard to press or butter, edges are catchy at slow speeds,

Experience:   i bought this board as my first board after having ridden for several years on rentals and was very happy with it, it was definitly worth the money considering i got the deck for about the price of a weeks rental for board/boots/bindings. this board is great for carving/going fast/jumps. boxes/rails/buttering can sort of be done but if you're wanting a board for that i would say get something softer. still a great value for money board and would reccomend it to any intermediate and above rider
