Sierra Says: For many years, the snowboard industry has been guilty of selling women?s snowboards that are too long and too stiff. Women today demand the same soft flexing and fun riding snowboards. We welcome the Space Metal Fantasy, one of the most playful women?s snowboards on the market. This is built for girls who will ride better than the boys.

Capita Says: The Space Metal Fantasy harnesses the biggest trend in snowboarding and applies that reverse camber theory in a women?s specific chassis. Modeled after the Horrorscope FK, the reverse camber Flat Kick application of the SMF yields the same major results. Elevated contact points provide a very forgiving, fun experience for intermediate riders looking to expedite the learning curve, and pre-loaded camber positioning helps expert level jibbers looking to impress.

Twin Shape: True Twin snowboards go forward and backward equally.

Freestyle FK: Flat Kick Camber where the base is flat and the tips and tail of your snowboard are Reverse Camber for easy presses and butters.

Flex rating: 3, which is a soft forgiving flex which helps you learn to ride quicker and master tricks.

WDT Engineered Jib Core: Wood and Composite core that is designed to be extra strong. Bottom Line: No broken boards!

Pre-Cured 420 Fiberglass Configuration

Extruded Base- Easy base to maintain and repair if rocks or rails damage it.

Screened ABS Bomb Proof Sidewalls: Prevents damage from rails, boxes and your ex BF.

4x2 Inserts: Standard fit for all your stance locations and accepts every brand binding.

  • Name: Capita Space Metal Fantasy Snowboard Women's
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Pros:  Super soft (one of softest wmns board ive ridden), Light (anyone who says this is heavy is WRONG), FUN!!! really easy to ride and enjoy
  • Cons:  slower edge to edge transision (its a prk brd duh), torsionally very soft (gotta get used to that), soft boards dont power through choppy snow

Experience:   Height: 5' 3// Weight: 135lbs// Boots: Burton Sapphire, size 7.5 // Stance: 22in, 18/-18// (same as 2010 version) CAPiTA Space Metal Fantasy 143 the CAPiTA SMF is based on the mens horroscope. Continuously by far my favourite snowboard... it's one of the softest boards I've ever ridden, but also one of the most fun. For someone who used to ride a lot of stiffer snowboards and enjoys laying down deep trenches on groomed runs, this super noodle deck has never let me down. I can do everything I used to do as a rider, and more! This board gives nice short radius turns, and nice fat carves, it's good on jumps, box's and rails, and excels mainly in the park. I would highly recommend this as a park board for any lady looking to add to their quiver. Additionally, I would also highly recommend this to any beginner looking for something to get started on, its very forgiving and easy to ride. As an advanced rider, I enjoy this board EVERYWHERE! and on EVERYTHING! It's def my go to deck for guaranteed fun! Cant believe its not butter? this is nothing but. Press, pop, jib, progress, lay it down, giv'er! On the downside, this board is torsional soft as well making ollying straight somewhat more challenging at times, just something to get used to... and soft boards don't power through chop very well, so if you like to ride really fast and straight line... might wanna look elsewhere. The 2011 deck rides almost identically to the 2010... I didn't notice any major differences.

Hey! I've been doing a lot of research on finding a good, fun, light, flexy park board and I think I've landed on the SMF. I'm a little apprehensive because there are no other reviews on here, but I have heard only good things about the guy's Horoscope and you seem really happy with yours too. I am about 5'4 and 135-140 pds. What size do you think I should get? I was kind of leaning toward a 145. Right now I am riding a Salomon Lush and it's a pretty solid all-mountain board but I want something that can help me progress in the park and is more park-specific. My Lush is also WAY too big, it's a 149, which makes it fun in powder...but I feel out of control in the park sometimes. Anyways, any more insights on what size I should get or anything else you think about the board would be awesome to know! I'm always a little nervous about buying new boards, especially without testing them. This is also going to be my first experience with FK camber, I know it will be different but I feel like it's something I will learn to love.

  • Name: Capita Space Metal Fantasy Snowboard Women's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Jumps
  • Pros:  Soft- very easy to butter, Handles everything from park days to powder runs, Perfect for learning park
  • Cons:  Doesn't handle icy/choppy runs to well,

Experience:   I can not say enough great things about this board. I am not the most experienced rider but this board has really allowed me to progress all over the mountain, and a lot quicker than my first board did. It is super fun and forgiving on the runs and the soft flex makes it easy to butter down the mountain & fun to ollie. It has especially helped boost my confidence at park. I get lots compliments on the graphics too (which is part of the reason I chose it over the Burton Social). Definitely recommend this board!
