"Love this boot!" 2/18/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: DC Park Snowboard Boots Kid's
  • Pros:  Super Comfortable, Awesome heel hold, Lightweight
  • Cons:  Some colour bleeding from binding strap, Outer shell doesn't look too durable,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  8
  • Boot Size:  9

Experience:   I started riding with Ride Fuls first (which are totally awesome boots) but wanted something with a bit more flex for more freestyle riding and eventually use fully for park. I tried size 8 first (my shoe size) and it was VERY snug, which shocked me because 8 is usually universal. But I tried a 9 after and it was just perfect! This boot is VERY easy to get in and out of which I love. Always sucks to struggle in and out of boots. There's ample padding around the entire foot and the j-bars are awesome for holding your heel down to prevent rising when you go on your toes. I rock the yellow/purple pair and just overall am super happy with these boots! Great traction as well. Stamping landings on these don't hurt either. Good flex without sacrificing much on support and response. I highly recommend the DC Park Boot for freestyle riders. Only cons I put were about the outer shell. A bit of pink from my binding strap bled onto the yellow boot but not really noticeable. Just annoying. I'm not sure how durable the outer shell really is yet as I've only had these for a week. They don't look to be as durable as Ride's SuperFabric.

"best boots ever" 6/29/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: DC Park Snowboard Boots Kid's
  • Pros:  nice flex, comfortable, look amazing
  • Fit:  stiff
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  9
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   these boots are awesome for whatever you are going to do. i initially bought these to specifically ride park, but these are my go to boots for anything now. i love the flex of these. they are soft enough for the park but stiff enough to ride the rest of the mountain. these are also very comfortable. sometimes when i would come up short on a jump and land flat, my feet would ache for a long time. not anymore though, these boots absorb the shock of landing flat. these just look plainly amazing too. i got the black aegean and i love the blue stripe on the bottom. i would highly recommend these boots.

  • Name: DC Park Snowboard Boots Kid's
  • Pros:  Super Comfortable, Strong Lace System,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  10
  • Boot Size:  11

Experience:   The DC Park boot is simply amazing! It is a solidly put together boot which will last for seasons to come. Offers plenty of cushion which actually makes being on your feet all day enjoyable, and the design is wicked...The Aegean strip make you feel like you’ve got a neons strapped to your heels when walking across the snow. Tremendously comfortable boot which you can wear day after day without a problem

"DC Park 2010 vs 2011" 3/26/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: DC Park Snowboard Boots Kid's
  • Pros:  With BravoLiner with great heelhold, Good air cushion for big kickers, Can flex without deforming the sole
  • Cons:  heavier than the 2011,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  8.5
  • Boot Size:  9

Experience:   I am writing this review after comparing it with the 2011 DC park boot and buying the 2010 version.I got the 2010 purple/yellow. Beside the sharp color. One of the reason I bought the 2010 is because of the Bravo Liner, which is one of the best liner that DC boot carried. Even the famous DC Judge is using the same liner. With Great support and heal hold. The boot can response without losing its comfort level. Making Boots that feels like skateboard shoes has always been the goal of DC shoes. And definitely the did a great job achieving it on DC Park Boots. I looked for a park boot within my budget but carrying some of the features that I look for. Support, comfort, responsive and soft. But why not 2011? The biggest difference in 2011 is the Park Bravo liner, which is a half liner made especially for the a snowboarder that sticks mostly to the park. It has the Unilite Outsole which is a lightweight outsole. It's lighter and feel even more like a pair skateshoes, yet lose some of the support I look for. However, both boots have Welded Backstay which helps the boot to work better with the bindings. Though I did not ride on the 2011 boot. But after trying the 2010, I am glad I buy this instead. With the support, responsiveness and comfort. I can hit bigger jumps and jib in the park as well as somewhere else in the rest of the mountain. And yes, the purp/yellow is just sick:)
