"Decent beginner's boots" 3/18/2014
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2014 DC Phase Snowboard Boots
  • Pros:  Cheap, Soft,
  • Cons:  A lot of heel lift,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  11
  • Boot Size:  11

Experience:   I've bought these when i first started boarding and they've served me really well, but I've upgraded to Burton Ambush. These are pretty good boots if you get the right size and tie them very tight, but there are still some heel lift and won't be as good as your midrange boots (obviously since they're in a different price category) They're a bit softer than the Burton ambush, have a bit more toe drag,BUT they're a great starter boots for all mountain riders. I'd recommend for your 1st set up if you're going for a cheap set up

Experience:   I love these boots, they have and extremely snug fit and are very warm. These boots are very durable and I was surprised at how light they were. These boots were easy to get into and provided a very snug fit which results a very nice response when riding. I recommend these boots to anyone looking for a warn durable and resposive boot.

"Nice Comfortable Boots" 5/15/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: DC Phase Snowboard Boots
  • Pros:  Look great, Comfortable,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  8.5
  • Boot Size:  9

Experience:   These are great looking comfortable boots. I made the mistake of ordering them in my regular DC shoes size (8.5). The perfect size for me would have been 9 or 9.5. Beware of this issue if you are buying this boots.

"Good Boot" 4/2/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: DC Phase Snowboard Boots
  • Pros:  Warm,
  • Cons:  pressed on the arch of my foot,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  11
  • Boot Size:  10.5

Experience:   This 2012 DC Phase boot is decent. - looks wise the styling works well with the functionality, the tread to the inside of the big toe works well for trudging through powder or ice, and the bottom of the boots grips well on most any stomp pad (mine has small spikes) - the boot feels strong when laced properly and the laces font seem to slip. - the boot would be warmer if I was wearing another layer of socks, but are adequately warm for just having on one pair of thick socks.
