"100% backing this product" 2/9/2011
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: DC Phase Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Perfect fit, Slight Flexibility, Compliments Burton Bindings
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  13/14
  • Boot Size:  13

Experience:   My friend referred me to this boot and I was a little skeptical about owning my first DC product for snowboarding. However after a few runs I am MORE then impressed. I was nervous that the boots wouldn't fit well with my Burton Freestyle Bindings ('10 AND '11... tried both) However it fit like a glove, better then my previous boot in all honesty. Knowing how great this boot is now I would gladly pay $150 for it. Looks durable, extremely easy to navigate/grip/etc. Every aspect you look for in a boot this excels in. Unless this boot somehow ignites or explodes on my feet I will keep using DC boots. (Yes I know my feet would explode and I wouldn't be able to ride regardless.... You get the point tho hah). I'm just your average rider, like most of you shoppers out there, but I back this product 100%!

"Decent Boots" 10/24/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: DC Phase Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Warm, Comfortable, Flex
  • Cons:  Blisters,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  11
  • Boot Size:  11

Experience:   These are really good boots. Warm, comfortable, flexible. But they gave me blisters on the balls of my feet. its normal for snowboard boots to do that but my other salomon boots don't give me any troubles. They aren't too tight. The boots are so warm, my feet get sweaty. But i wear thick socks. They are good for the park but im not sure if they are stiff enough for back-country. But all around good boots.

"DC Phase" 5/19/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (4) No

  • Name: DC Phase Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  CHEAP, nice and stiff, great hold on ankle and heel
  • Cons:  not the warmest boot,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  12
  • Boot Size:  12

Experience:   for the price you really cant beat these things. i use them on my casual setup for cruising runs with friends but i will admit i have taken them to the park once or twice. the only thing i will say is that you need snowboard socks wen you ride with these. atleast in my case my feet were freaking freezing the first time i went out with these because i didnt feel like bringing snow socks. but other than that these are AMAZING

"Back to Basic Park riding" 3/26/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: DC Phase Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Cheap entry level boot with good look, Basic Park Boot, quite soft, Heelhold is okay, Good boot to start with.
  • Cons:  Pressure points developed during riding, Not too Comfortable on the toes, clamp sometimes,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  8.5
  • Boot Size:  9

Experience:   DC Phase were the first pair of boots I got back in the days after I decided to get my own snowboard gear. DC has always been related to park riding and freestyling. Bring the elements of skateshoes to snowboarding, the DC phase boot fits and feels softer than most of the entry level boots out there. It's a cheap basic freestyling boot for beginner/intermediate level riding. But once you start hitting larger kickers. The cushion might not enough for you. I once landed flat once with it and even though I manage to stomp it, it was just bad :( I used it as not only for park riding but also for all mountain. Starting off slow and progress. I spent my newbie stage with this pair boots. It is great boots to start with especially with cheap discount prices you can find online. I got one for my brother this year as well who's just started snowboarding and he loves it.

"Tight for me" 2/24/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: DC Phase Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Comfy, Nice Sole,
  • Cons:  Gummy color on black,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  9.5W or 10B
  • Boot Size:  9.5 or 10

Experience:   I found a good sales at $60 for this model, but sadly picked a wrong size. Because my Flow Lotus 8.5 fitted perfectly on my 9.5W feet, I got size 9, and was too short!! Width seemed OK. Have to choose your true shoe size or perhaps half size up on this one for length. Because I am happy with Lotus, I really don't need but thought not a bad pair as a backup - and with the price is too good to pass on. On the other hand, I am not sure the gum accent on black, maybe I should get white with bigger size instead...

PS: I meant to post my review in Women's 2011, but somehow the page doesn't allow me to do and instead post my review here as Men's!!! Dear Trusnow staff, if you see this, would you look out this page/my lost post? Thx!

jc610
one thing you could do, if you end up keepin' the boots, is put the liners of the boots that do fit you good in the new boots and it might solve the problem!

"Comfy, but not the best" 1/10/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: DC Phase Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  comfy, able to get tight,
  • Cons:  circulation,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  9
  • Boot Size:  9

Experience:   I liked these a lot, a pretty simple looking boot that has a nice feel to it, it also has J-bars which are exactly what i need. My biggest complaint was losing circulation in my toes and it was painful, but it might have been my bindings fault.

I had the same problem too. My right toe was clampped. Always get one size up for DC boots. Their sizing is smaller than other boots out there.
