Experience: These boots hurt. After a day of riding I have bruises on the inside of both ankles. These boots feel like they are sized for women or kids. I tried these boots on at the store before buying and they felt a bit tight around my pinky toes. There was no noticeable pressure on my ankles, not until they were on my feet after several hours on the mountain. The heel on the DC Scouts seem to stick out more than my previous boots, 2010 Salomon Faction (same size). I wiped out several times on the mountain before figuring out that my heels were touching the snow causing me to sit down at high speeds. I have tried to re-seat my bindings to accommodate the extra heel drag, it helped a little but I still have issues on my heel side because of these boots. I do not recommend these boots.

I totally agreed. Only after riding a few hours, my ankles started to feel the hurting pressure. not sure what to do now. what's the remedies?

Experience: I got these boots because I didn't want to lace my boots, but I couldn't afford a two boa system boot. They're pretty comfortable and I haven't had any issues as far as pressure points or anything like that. The only thing is that the boot loosens pretty easily so you should always check. Otherwise, I'm extremely happy with them considering the price. Definitely try them on before you buy them though!

Experience: I have a little older set of these and i really like them. for the price you get a nice looking, comfy boot with good feel and a single boa system, can't beat it. one drawback is that the single boa system seems to require a little experimentation for getting the correct tension. once you figure that out they work quite well, but may require some further adjustment during the day. as for the strength of the cables themselves, i can comment. i have heard people say they are turned off by boas because of the possibility of a cable breaking. apparently this can happen, but i'd just like to say mine are around 4 years old and they haven't broken. when i buy a new set i plan to go to the double boa system the judge offers. but if you want to spend $100 less, go for the scout. it's a good boot.

Experience: First review so be kind. Purch these boots recently and have only worn them around the store and at home to break them in. I find them comfy like a bigger version of my skate shoes and the BOA system is so easy to use. This is my first boot purchase so nothing to compare it to apart from my rental boots. My rentals were just plain bad and left there mark literally on my leg by taking some bark off. So far the time I have spent in the DC's its been a dream experience in comparison. If new to boarding and looking for a no nonsense, comfortable and easy use boot I would recomend for sure. Hope to update this after some more use.

Experience: These boots are A++ when it comes to getting in and out of them. Good amount of cushion for comfort. My only complaint is it feels like the boot loosens up as you progress through the day, but that may just be the boot getting broken in.

Experience: Son muy buenas botas y sobre todo a bajo precio. Si bien son basicas, para los livianos funcionan muy bien y no se deforman. Mi hijo las uso en 2010, y quedaron impecables. Este aÃ±o 2011, se han eliminado los plasticos por donde pasaban los cables del boa, sobre el empeine, con lo cual, el cable apoya directamente sobre la tela y pienso que puede ocasionar algun desgaste prematuro. Habra que considerarlo luego del uso.

Experience: i love this boot, i use to ride burton mints but they hurt my feet and shins really bad, i switch to these, the first day of riding was ruff but after that they are awesome and fit my feet perfect!!! easy to put on and great after u break them in! ;)

Experience: I bought these boots last year and absolutely love them. I got them in the white and brown. the boa is what really make these boots. the inner shoe is just as easy to get in and out as the actual boot. when I get the chance i recommend these boots whenever i can.
