"basic snowboard wax scraper" 10/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Dakine 10 inch Scraper
  • Pros:  tough/rigid, sharp edge , plenty wide

Experience:   I have been using this since last season and it works perfectly. i saw another review for this tool that said it is worthless and i dont understand what they are talking about, im guessing that they would have problems with any scraper.

"Great scraper" 1/20/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine 10 inch Scraper
  • Pros:  Sturdy, Easy to hold, Larger than other scrapers
  • Cons:  No notch for scraping edges,

Experience:   I've been using this scraper for over 20 scrape jobs and it still works very well. The large rectangular size of the scraper makes it easy to hold with two hands compared to other triangle shaped scrapers such as the Burton one. The one down fall to this scrap is the lack of a notch. A notched scrapper makes it easier to clean wax on edges. This scraper can still do it but not as simple as the notched scrapers. I would chose the Dakine 10 over the Burton Tri Scraper.

  • Name: Dakine 10 inch Scraper
  • Pros:  thickness,

Experience:   for people who think scrapers are a waste of money cuz u can use something else..dont. get this, it is thick so it wont snap and it scrapes off wax like butta and it has a little edge scraper for the edges of your board. for the price buy it and save yourself time and effort.
