"Dakine Bronco" 12/5/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Bronco
  • Pros:  Dexterity, Waterproof,
  • Cons:  Cold, Small,

Experience:   Basic gloves, nothing amazing about them. Better for warmer weather as they didn't keep my fingers warm. Easy to move my fingers when strapping in. They run on the small size and at times, the inner insulation would pull out when I took my hand out. Sometimes it was extremely difficult to get the insulation back in place, especially around my pinky.

"Warm and Snug" 11/21/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Bronco
  • Pros:  Inside comfort, Love the zipper,
  • Cons:  Size was smaller than my other larges,

Experience:   These gloves are super comfy, after my first time trying them on at the local shop, I really appreciated the comfort of the inner liner and the snug fit after zipping it up. Not many gloves have that zipper; it really makes the gloves fit around my palm. I read the above post about how they had issues with the wear after 2 months, I don’t know if its because I am particular with my stuff, but after a season these really held up.

"Like a glove!" 11/12/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Bronco
  • Pros:  Good fit, Light , Warm
  • Cons:  No handwarmer pocket,

Experience:   Picked these up on a recommendation and have been impressed so far. They fit true to size, I bought a large and they feel good, not snug or loose. They're lightweight as well, not a heavy winter glove I'm sure, but compared to my old Burtons which are sort of similar, they are definitely warmer. Overall quality of materials and workmanship is great, zipper close is less clumsy than velcro, and has a good clip for keeping them together. At end it is a good simple glove.

"Good gloves, a bit tight" 11/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Bronco
  • Pros:  waterproof, palms,
  • Cons:  fit,

Experience:   Used them last season and still kicking. Only con is that I bought them L size, and when using with wristgards is difficult to put them on. So, the fit is right, but think about an extra size if you plan on wearing wristgards.

"Solid Glove" 11/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Dakine Bronco
  • Pros:  lower profile, dry, good mobility
  • Cons:  not warmest glove, runs a touch small,

Experience:   I picked up these gloves on a whim looking for some decent Gore-tex hand protection. Sizes run a touch on the small size-- I usually wear a men's M glove and needed to get a large in these. The gloves are low profile and mobile-- some reasonable dexterity in them (though not as much as pipe gloves, I'll take the added dryness as a trade off). While the low profile means not a ton of insulation, I never found I was especially cold wearing these. A great glove at a reasonable pricepoint.

"Good gloves" 10/25/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Bronco
  • Pros:  great fit, look good,
  • Cons:  get wet pretty fast,

Experience:   i bought these gloves and for the most part i am still pleased. I did notice on the mountain that they got wet pretty fast but thats how most gloves are.. i came up with a little technique and it still works great, I just put on the soft gloves that you buy at walmart or somewhere and then just slide the dakine gloves over them and it keeps my hands toasty and always dry.

"Bulletproof" 8/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Bronco
  • Pros:  Gore-tex, so its unbelievably waterproof, Great mobility,
  • Cons:  Bit thin, for those colder days,

Experience:   I usually wear a X Large glove, but with these i can wear L - XX L and it feels the same. Tried these gloves out today and was very impressed. Unlike most gloves i have tried (cheap gloves), i could freely move my fingers around and not have to take them off for fiddling with my Bindings, camera or zips (jacket and bag). I wore these in snowy conditions with little visibility and it was around -5'C. They kept my hands heaps warm and i didn't have a problem. So good infact that i will be willing to dish out Aus prices for these.

"Just Decent Glove" 7/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Bronco
  • Pros:  Low profile, Looks great, , Zipper for ease of getting in/out,
  • Cons:  Not warm enough, Snow easily get in from wrist,,

Experience:   I bought this glove locally last season. Over all good glove, but not great. Its good for spring riding but I wouldnt recommend using it on cold days as the glove is not warm enough. The glove is completely waterproof. Another complain I have with it is that the snow can easily get in from the wrist since it does not have a band that tighten around the wrist. Would I buy this glove again? Probably not. Tip to future buyer: Buy a glove liner along with this glove to keep you warm.

"Bronco 1020" 7/5/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Bronco
  • Pros:  Keeps hands dry, Warm,
  • Cons:  Annoying liner,

Experience:   The gloves are great in respect to the fact they keep your hands dry and warm which is the whole idea. Being an under glove it helps keep the snow out also which is a big + for me.... Negative thing is the inner of each glove on the pinky fingers seem to move around a lot and taken them on and off reguarly is a major pain, can never put the gloves on smoothly always needed multiple attempts....all my other gloves dont have this problem

"average glove" 7/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Bronco
  • Pros:  they keep your hands dry i guess,
  • Cons:  the liner comes loose and its hard to fit hand it, not the best gloves,

Experience:   the lining on the inside of this glove come loose and if you have to take your gloves of to answer your phone each lunch or what ever it makes it hard to get in back in again, my main problem was my little finger, had to answer my phone and then it took me at least 5min to get my glove back on, and had to make my mates wait for me, i don't like wasting time trying to fix my gear because that means less time boarding
