"Its like a post-it note. It comes off too easily. " 7/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Clutch Stomp
  • Pros:  AMAZING GRIP , Great looks, Good size
  • Cons:  It fell off on mine: the first day of use, Another fell off my friends: his second day of use,

Experience:   It really is a great stomp pad. However, even after I read the directions twice and put it on perfectly it slid off in the middle of my run...on the first day. The problem is different then expected. The pad has a gel like sheet that has sticky glue on both sides of it. One side contacts the board while the other contacts the pad. The pad came of that sheet leaving the pad glueless and the sticky sheet stuck to the board. After heating the sheet I pulled it off with ease. The same thing happened to my friend also on his first time out with it. I really wish it stuck because the grip it gave for your boot was outstanding!

"Dakine Stomps!!!" 4/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Clutch Stomp
  • Pros:  This is a great stomp pad. It grips tremendously for being a small to medium size stomp pad!!! The scraper in the middle of the stomp pad is very useful for getting rid of any snow stuck to the boot.
  • Cons:  NONE

Experience:   The cyclop graphic is the best design!!! The stomp pad itself is clear so the graphic look like its part of the board.

"Best stomp pad out there" 3/27/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Clutch Stomp
  • Pros:  Good grip, good size, better than a lot of stomp pads out there. Even when covered in snow it still gives enough grip to get off the lift with no problems.

"Good Stomp Pad" 3/13/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Clutch Stomp
  • Pros:  Great Grip, Big Teeth, Scraper
  • Cons:  Adhesive

Experience:   Be careful when applying this stomp pad. When i peeled off the prtoective liner, the adhesive strip came off with it. So there was no adhesive on the stomp pad. IT took me a few minutes, but i was finally able to peel the adhesive strip from the protective liner. I applied it just as the directions stated (heat pad with hair dryer). I was a little concerned how well it would hold after the installation problem I had....but it held up VERY WELL. The big teeth & scraper grabbed my boot very well, no matter how much snow was covering the stomp pad. I highly recommend this stomp pad.....I would have given this pad 5 stars, BUT I gace it 3 because of the adhesive strip issue

"Dakine Clutch Stomp Pad" 3/3/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Clutch Stomp
  • Pros:  None.
  • Cons:  As I tried to peel away the protective liner, the adhesive came off with the liner. I was left with a stomp pad with no adhesive, and a liner sheet with adhesive on it. WTF?! I heard this is common for old stomp pads as the adhesive gets older. That was $5 down the drain. I really liked the low profile of this stomp pad as well. I could have potentially seen it as a 5 star, if I was at least able to get it on.
