"Buy it!" 1/30/2011
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: Dakine Convert Snowboard Leash
  • Pros:  Easy to use, Innovative,
  • Cons:  I didn't buy this earlier,

Experience:   I used to always have problems clipping and unclipping my leash to my boot with my gloves on, but the clip in the center of this one makes it a lot easier that fumbling with a small plastic or metal clip. If you've ever had my problem or just want a cool, easy-to-use leash, then buy this. I recommend this to everyone I know. :)

"You need a leash anyways..." 1/22/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: Dakine Convert Snowboard Leash
  • Pros:  Works as a leash,
  • Cons:  You have to buy it for laws,

Experience:   You need a leash at most resorts anyways, so get one that's at least cheap and stylish like this one.

"It's A Leash" 1/3/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Convert Snowboard Leash
  • Pros:  Able to snap in and out with gloves on., Cheap price on TruSnow.,

Experience:   The only other contribution anyone on here can say is that it is probably cheaper to buy it from trusnow if you are in the free shipping pricing. I own a black one and paid more for it at the sports store. What's there to honestly review about? It's a leash, it works. I'm able to snap in and out of with my gloves on. I've used it at CA and UT resorts and none have put a leash law on me.

"needed if you MT. has a leash law" 12/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Convert Snowboard Leash
  • Pros:  looks good, name brand, does the job

Experience:   Not a huge fan of leashes incase i have to get out of my board to hike at all, but some resorts have a leash law to prevent run-away boards if bindings fail, which i have never seen happen. but check before you go up, if your mountain has a leash law, get this leash and save yourself the hassle when you get up there.

"Easy and to the point!" 3/24/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Convert Snowboard Leash
  • Pros:  easy to use, great value,
  • Cons:  clip,

Experience:   Tip: I sometimes wrap the leash through both my binding metal backs to fashion a handle / strap - which I then use and wear the board like a duffel bag for easy transport. Great leash; super affordable and versatile. Unmounting is sometimes tricky because the clip is quite unorthodox as to where you push the sides to unfasten it. No worries though, it's easy to use and it does the job for something that's 5 bucks. What are you waiting for? Go get one!

"Great Leash!" 3/1/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Dakine Convert Snowboard Leash
  • Pros:  Easy to Use, Durable,
  • Cons:  easy to lose when not attached to board or boot,

Experience:   This is a great leash... no more fumbling around with those smaller leashes being unsure of where to clip it to your boot. With this leash its always attached to your boot and board and all you have to do is clip the two halves together. It's even easy to clip together while you have your gloves on!! Material also seems very durable. The length of it is also good so it doesn't feel like its in the way unlike the other long wrap around the leg style leash dakine offers.

  • Name: Dakine Convert Snowboard Leash
  • Pros:  Quick and easy,
  • Cons:  Not good for Speed Zone Lacing,

Experience:   A simple and easy leash, however if you have a Burton boot with speedzone lacing I would not buy this leash.

"Nice and Simple" 2/24/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Convert Snowboard Leash
  • Pros:  Does its job, Cheap (price), Sturdy
  • Cons:  Little hard to take off with gloves.,

Experience:   Got this earlier this year, was finally able to use it. It does its job just like any other leash. The clipping for taking it on and off is good, but is a little difficult to take off with your gloves after runs. It's durable-made out of plastic. Other than that, this is a great product. If there was a metallic one, I would get that one instead.
