"So-so bag" 2/27/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Freestyle Bag Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  Fits nicely with my board. Keep your car seat or trunk dry.
  • Cons:  No padding _at all_. By no, I mean zero, zilch, nada, nihil, nol, except a very thin cushion for your board's base.

Experience:   I ordered a165-cm Dakine Freestyle Bag for my 154-cm board with bindings attached. Barely fits, but it makes it look sexy. Kinda doubt I can put my boots inside the bag. Honestly, I kind of regret my purchase. Double the price, I'd get Burton Wheelie Gig bag. Well padded.

"Cheap way to travel!" 10/16/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Freestyle Bag Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  Okay padding, light weight, good for road travel,
  • Cons:  no wheels,

Experience:   This is one of the bag that I recommend for road trip travel, it would have been good for airline travel if it has wheels. I skiped burton locker because of the size, biggest doesnt mean its better.. The padded protection is enough to keep your board from being damaged. There is plenty of room for all of my snowboad gear and outerwear plus 4 or 5 days worth of clothing. After using this bag, I opted buy a burton wheelie gig instead. It might be more expensive, but you will thank yourself later.

"Great for people on a tight budget" 9/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Freestyle Bag Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  Low price, 2 pockets for goggles, gloves etc., Nice strap
  • Cons:  Not a lot of padding at all., high back bindings may be difficult to fit,

Experience:   This bag doesn't have any flashy designs and no crazy technology, its just straight forward and that really helps with its price. Bottom line if you don't feel like spending 100 bucks on something that is just supposed to hold your board then this is definitely the bag for you.

"Get few sizes larger" 8/25/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Freestyle Bag Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  Lightweight and well made. Can't go wrong with Dakine

Experience:   I purchased the 157 size but could not fit a 154 board with bindings. Instead 152 with no bindings or 148 with bindings fit perfectly.

"Nice Lined Board Bag!" 5/22/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Freestyle Bag Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  Fully Lined, Nice Designs, Super Durable Material, Heavy Duty Zipper.
  • Cons:  The only real con with this bag is that for me I can't fit my board with large size Burton Bindings as the Burton Highbacks are to long to alow the bag to zipper all the way closed. Other than this it is a great bag.

Experience:   This is a great bag and I would suggest it to anyone as long as you don't have bindings with that tall highbacks.

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Freestyle Bag Snowboard Bag
  • Pros:  My 162 board fits in the 165 bag with ease. All my gear fits in the front pouch and in the main compartment with the board with ease. Looks cool!
  • Cons:  The main zipper kind of binds on mine, but not bad enough for me to return it.
