"Amazing bag" 6/26/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Heli Pro Womens
  • Pros:  Nice patterns, Comfy, Carries all the necessities
  • Cons:  No iPood pocket,

Experience:   Even though it is a girls bag, it works great for a guy to. I like that it can hold both skis and snowboards so i don't need two bags (one for skiing and one for boarding). Its nice that it has a built in spot for hydration, also the bottle holder work great for 40's. It is really just two large pockets and then most of the extras either zip up in or velcro up to keep the bag looking clean. My two complaints are no ipod pocket for when i am just using the bag to get around, and the camera pocket on the waist strap is really small...but it keep my wraps dry. If you need a pack its worth the sale price, and if you are a male, jade drops doesn't look as girly as it sounds.

"Exactly like description" 5/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Heli Pro Womens
  • Pros:  Useful Compartments, Lightweight, Waterproof, Made for a woman's frame

Experience:   Got this bag last year and it's been awesome. Truthfully was slightly larger than I expected (how am i to know what ### cubics is in reality?!) but like everyone else says, it fits a LOT of stuff. like I could easily take this on a weekend trip and fit all clothes and toiletries and tie some sneakers to the outside, much less take it out for a days ride in back bowls with my lunch, layers and a hydration pack. pockets, sleeves, and straps are all well positioned and really handy. the inside is the thin dakine waterproof material. deployable water bottle pocket means a mesh pocket that has a zippered flap thing over it that hides it away when you don't want it. holds a 32 oz nalgene. makes me want to get an ice pick just to quick draw an ice pick. i like holding my board horizontally on it - has sleeve thing against your back. oh yeah i'm 5'3, 100 lb and the pack is a bit turtley on me when i look in the mirror, but doesn't feel that way at all.

"No more squashed lunches" 5/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Heli Pro Womens
  • Pros:  great insulation, waterproof,

Experience:   Ever since my GF purchased this bag, all I hear is how much she likes it. She wears this bag on our day drips, it fits our sweaters, lunch, drinks, camera and anything we need. The bag is great because we no longer have to eat cold flat nutella sandwiches or flat mars bars. It is her first bag with a hyropack and loves it a lot, it makes me want the male version just for it.

"Fantastic contruction, great features" 4/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Dakine Heli Pro Womens
  • Pros:  Insulted hyrdro sleeve, never get frozen tubes, Right amount of compartments, Perfect size for day trips

Experience:   The Dakine Heli's have always been my favorite backpack along with the Backcountry Access series. Plenty of features with the snowboarder/skier in mind. Insulated sleeve so you never get frozen tubes from the hydration packs. Not a whole lot of excessive straps to get caught in chairlifts. A+ quality construction that will last you many seasons. Good size for day trips, not for any serious backcountry trips.

"Lots of Everything!" 2/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Heli Pro Womens
  • Pros:  Space! Lots of it!, Lightweight, Functional
  • Cons:  no cons,

Experience:   Got the pack today and it's more than I was hoping for. It has tons... and I mean tons of room for whatever you want to carry on the mountain. There's a compartment for a hydration pack. The tube runs inside the shoulder strap to keep the water from freezing. I can lug around skis AND a snowboard if choose to. Waist strap is rugged and keeps the pack from moving around. Helps distribute the weight evenly so your back doesn't bear all the weight. A sleeping bag could certainly fit in the pack. Whatever you want to stuff in there, whether it be books, boots, clothes, a pillow in case you fall... this backpack is up for the job. It's even stylish! Just get one. You'll love it!

"Super Sweet" 11/11/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Heli Pro Womens
  • Pros:  Holds a lot of stuff but still leightweight. Will help you carry your board with your hands full. Fill it up with refreshments for the ride up the lift.
  • Cons:  Kind of has a lot of straps that seem a little unnecessary but maybe i just dont know their proper use.

Experience:   The fleece lined pocket is really handy if you lost your goggles case like i did.
