"awesome bag!" 4/17/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Heli Youth
  • Pros:  low profile, lightweight, durable
  • Cons:  doesnt hold much items,

Experience:   love this bag! my previous dakine bag was too bulky and didnt have a compartment for a hydration bladder. this bag has a compartment that lets the tube run through the sleeve of the bag keeping it unfrozen. i didnt know that till i got the bag and it was pretty cool. my friend's dakine didnt have that and his tube kept on freezing. this bag won't carry much but thats what i wanted. i'm 5'4, about 110 pounds, and i wear xsmall and small. i was afraid this bag was gonna be too small for me since its for kids but the size was just right for me. dakine makes very durable bags and this one did not let me down!

"Definetly a day bag" 5/17/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Heli Youth
  • Pros:  Stream lined and not bulky, great day bag on the hill,
  • Cons:  wont work for long weekends.,

Experience:   Listen if your looking for a good school bag or somethin with a little more street cred this will work well. But not big enough for a long weekend snowboard trip. Dekine always fits with a low profile. Nothing bulky at least not the bags I own. Sierra has some with fun collors I got a army green to go with my Brown jacket.

"all you need" 8/23/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Heli Youth
  • Pros:  light, nice design, comfortable
  • Cons:  small storage,

Experience:   i got this bag last year and have been using it almost every day at work. haven't had any problems with it what so ever and can honestly say that the bag is made with quality. however, if you need to carry a lot of gear in it, it's probably not the bag for you due to it's small compartments. if you don't usually carry much, then it's definitely for you

"Great for a comfortable riding pack" 8/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Heli Youth
  • Pros:  Snug, Goes Un-noticed,

Experience:   Definately down for the camelback-ready design. snug so it wont bother you on jumps. cant fit enough for a lomg trip but great for riding necceseties. (tools, camelback, phone, etc.) i reccomend it if you dont plan on boarding with alot of bulky gear.

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Heli Youth
  • Pros:  Small, Light,
  • Cons:  Just don't expect to fit too much in it,

Experience:   Dakine backpacks are always good, especially for the price sierra snowboards has the heli youth for. I have just as a light daypack and use it all the time when I don't need much stuff. Definitely reccommend, a great buy!

"Forget you are carrying it!" 8/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Heli Youth
  • Pros:  Doesnt feel like your carrying it., Perfect for 1 day,

Experience:   Love this bag, the red ninja pattern looks sweet as and it really hugs up against your bag so you dont feel like your slinging a bag around everytime you turn or spin, very light weight so its very forgettable and fits all the little bits and pieces you need for the day without feeling like a snails shell on your back, all the little accessories and secret zips you need, none of the weight you dont!

"Subtle" 4/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Heli Youth
  • Pros:  lightweight, compact, convienent
  • Cons:  somewhat small,

Experience:   may come off as small, but is really great for things that kids have a tendency to misplace, like gloves hats and goggles. the space cuts it down so you can really only bring the essentials though
