"BEST PAD EVER!!!" 1/8/2012
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Modular Mat Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  three piece customizable setup, sticky,
  • Cons:  i wish it came in clear,

Experience:   so I boarded a full season without a stomp pad, convinced that it was an unnecessary expense. however, after putting this one on, I cant imagine how I used to board without it. I have the same one, same year, just a different color. I have used and abused it without having any peeling or slipping. it is the only way to transfer the input from my boot to the board when I am not strapped in. my only complaint is that it does not come in clear. I would rather have something a little more discrete. althought the black and grey pattern that I purchased blends into the board that I have, I wish it was clear so it would blend even more. the three piece setup makes up for any aesthetics that might be compromised. you ca adjust how much or how little of the board that the stomp pad takes up. it works the same for a size 15 boot as it wold for a size 9... just adjust where you put the toe, heel, and main stomp pad. i dont think i will buy any other stomp pad... and a one piece pad is out of the question

"My Favorite Stomp Pad Yet" 12/10/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Modular Mat Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Grips Your Boot, Looks Nice,

Experience:   Getting off the hills at the local resort is usually difficult with new people laying everywhere and getting in your way, but with this stomp pad it's almost like you still have your foot in the binding. It's the best stomp pad I've used yet and makes it very easy to navigate while your back foot is out of the binding. If you're looking for a good stomp pad to last you a couple of years, this is the one that you're looking for!

  • Name: Dakine Modular Mat Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  toe and heal placement anywhere,
  • Cons:  spikes start to bend,

Experience:   i noticed after a few runs that the spiky stuff that helps grip onto your boots starts to bend but i don't know if you can tell the difference whether or not it works the same.

"Flexibility is Nice" 3/15/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Dakine Modular Mat Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Three Peice Desgin, Sharp Spikes,

Experience:   I have this stomp pad in clear on both of my snowboards. I really like that you can spread it out across your entire foot to get a good grip with toe and heel side instead of just in the center. The spikes are not very large but they do the job. For the price, you can't go wrong. As long as you follow the directions when applying it, room temp - warm board, lots of pressure then you won't have any issues with it peeling off.

"Does its job well" 1/29/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Modular Mat Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Adjustable, Grip,
  • Cons:  Odd Shape,

Experience:   This is a great stomp pad for tall boards like myself. You are able to space out the 3 parts of the pad far enough out so that your whole boot can fit on the stomp pad. The spikes are also a fantastic grippy material. I would definitely recommend!

"Great Pad" 1/24/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Dakine Modular Mat Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Grippy, Sticks to the Board Well, Customizable
  • Cons:  Spikes Bend,

Experience:   I love the three piece design. I bought this one in black and grey and it looks real clean on my board. It grips like a champ and my boots never slip on this one. The adhesive is really strong so be careful when placing it on your board because once it's on it isn't coming off! After stomping on it a bit the tips begin to bend a little bit but I don't think it has made a difference on it's abiltiy to grip my boots. This was well worth my money and I recommend it to anyone!

"Great Pad!" 1/5/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Modular Mat Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Adjustable, Good grip,

Experience:   I have this pad just a different color and is by far one of the best pads I have ever used. It has three parts so you can adjust the width when laying it down on your board. It has great grip and for the price there is no way you can go wrong.

"Buy this Pad" 12/10/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Modular Mat Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Best Adhesive, Low Profile, Lots of Grip

Experience:   I have used this stomp pad many times. It's the only one i will buy. I love it because you can arrange it however you wan't. The spikes don't bend (don't know whats wrong with that other guy)The clear one (not on here)is literally invisible on a board. It's big but not to big. You won't slide on this even with snow jam packed on it. The adhesive is really good. It won't come off. Tips-File down the points so if you bump it carrying it you wont be gushing blood. They're really sharp. Also don't forget to hear up your board and the adhesive before sticking it on your board.

I agree man. Got this stomp a couple seasons ago and won't ever use another. I had problems with one of the pieces falling off, but I found it and super glued it on. Problem fixed.

"Won't own another brand" 10/26/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Modular Mat Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Custom Fit, Easy to attach,
  • Cons:  Super sharp,

Experience:   I love this stomp pad. The fact that it's three pieces is perfect. You can custom place it on your board so it grips in all the right places on your boot. My roommates and I all have these pads on our boards. Even most of our friends have them as well. They are just so easy to apply and bond really well as long as you follow the directions.

"Pay attention to which color you buy" 7/12/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Dakine Modular Mat Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Good functionality,
  • Cons:  design,

Experience:   I like this brand so i thought Id go with their stomp pad. I wanted the one that looks all white with the black lettering in the middle so without paying too much attention, I chose the white one. Well apparently the one I wanted was actually the clear one, so now im stuck with this white one that has brown and red in it. This clashes with the color of my board and since its cheap in price, its not worth sending it back for an exchange. Oh well, guess Ill just give this one away.
