"returned after 2 weeks" 6/22/2011
Helpful Review?   (3) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Nano Driver Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  compact,
  • Cons:  too small, only 2 philip head style,

Experience:   this is one of those handy tools that you can get to remount your binding or adjust anything you need on the run. as you can tell, its pretty tiny but it also worries me to bring it cause its like 2-3 oz only, and l could easily lose it without knowing. Can't really use it with your gloves either as it can get difficult to tighten. for 8$ l rather get a larger tool that has more screw type. l think the 2 is limited in everyday usage, but for my snowboard set, they only used the same head tool. since l couln't really justify paying that much for a screwdriver, l returned it after 2 weeks.

"not worth the buy, use a real screwdriver" 2/1/2012
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Nano Driver Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  small, can fit in your pocket or backpack, durable
  • Cons:  not enough handle grip, the screw bit is cheaply made,

Experience:   I found this portable tool at a sports chalet sale because it was discount at 8 dollars because it was being sold as open package and the brand is Dakine very reputable in tools quality so i thought on the peak of Bear mt i had to re-tighten my binders after 3 hrs of riding. The handle feels way too slippery to even get a grip and to torque the screws in which i had to apply weight on top which lead the bit to stripping the head of my binding screws and phillips head bit was damage also.I wouldn't recommend anyone with big hands to use this..it's a flimsy little tool so short it doesn't have enough leverage without applying pressure on top,Yes it fits great in your pocket but it doesn't work too well..i advise anyone just to use a standard phillips screw driver with full handle grip with a extended bit in 5 inches or more so that you can see if your bolts are properly being screwed and not stripping as you're screwing it clockwise.

"Quick Fix" 1/30/2012
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Dakine Nano Driver Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  Fits In Pocket, Quick Fix,
  • Cons:  So-So Leverage,

Experience:   This tool is sweet if you realize a screw is loose in your bindings which definitely happens once in awhile. It is annoying to use once your glove is off outside and your hand gets cold because it's so small and hard to grip. If you really want to get something tight, I would recommend a regular sized screwdriver but it never hurts to keep it in your pocket while out on the mountain. Overall, not bad!

"cute but" 1/27/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Dakine Nano Driver Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  cute, small size,
  • Cons:  usability,

Experience:   I had an opportunity to use this screw driver on a moountain. Very cute in design and small in sizes it's ok when you set your bindings at home, but as soon as you go out, with your gloves on, when there's much snow this thing becomes very uncomfy.

"good Job" 1/26/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: Dakine Nano Driver Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  Small, Does its job,

Experience:   Its good because its small and nifty and it also does its job. I do not recommend putting it in the pockets because it could hurt if you fall on it. Maybe you should keep it in your backpack or something, be creative with it.

"It's not bad" 3/31/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Nano Driver Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  compact, useful at times,
  • Cons:  hard to hold,

Experience:   This tool is not bad if you need it on a mountain and have nothing else. I go snowboarding with my friend and his binding always comes lose so i always let him fix it with my tool. It does the job for like 45 min and then starts to come lose again. Its hard to make the screw really tight because the tool is oddly shaped and hard to hold. It is very useful sometimes and is very compact.

"Useful" 12/3/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: Dakine Nano Driver Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  Small,

Experience:   It's small enough to carry on your person while riding, but I still prefer to not have it on me at all. It won't stab you, but it's still a solid object that you can fall on while riding and cause some additional pain. I'd still prefer just keeping a bigger screwdriver in my car, or use the ones that are available on the mountain.

"Meh" 11/29/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Nano Driver Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  small, very handy,
  • Cons:  hard to grip with gloves, hurts a lot when you land on it,

Experience:   It is a very small and nifty driver to have on you on the mountain, but you really have to take off your gloves to get a decent grip on it, and even then if it's wet it's hard without gloves. Also, landing on it with it in your pocket will result in the worst charlie horse ever because of how round it is.
