"WAY TO BIG!!!" 3/25/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Overload Convertible (200cm)
  • Pros:  Fits EVERYTHING,
  • Cons:  HUGE!!,

Experience:   Lets start with the good: This thing fits everything. I have 3 complete boards with bindings & a pair of boots. This puts me at 50lbs (Air line weight), but there is still room to fit all the rest of my gear including outerware for 2 people. The Bad: If totally filled you need to people to carry and you'll be over the weight for airlines anyway. Unless you have a 190cm + snowboard it doesnt roll very well. The bag folds dragging part of it by the wheels. There is also no shoulder strap. If you're seriously considering this, I would recommend the 180cm. Still plenty big to fit everything but small enough to maneuver around.

"It really is VERY big, but still pretty good!" 4/27/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Overload Convertible (200cm)
  • Pros:  Room for more than one board, Rollers, Good quality materials
  • Cons:  Excessively long,

Experience:   This bag is HUGE! I do wonder who would ever really make use of 200cm but I guess if you have the space in a van or pickup, you can fit a board and folded up bindings with the bag fully extended. I have a feeling that I'll be folding the top end over while this sits in my trunk. Definitely lots of room for two boards and more if you have them in separate sleeves (no bindings attached though). Also looks like it was manufactured with quality in mind. Great materials used. I wouldn't mind more available pockets for small tools and accessories and maybe it would have been nice if that extra length was actually a separate compartment. You can also get the matching roller case too (which I did). :)

"HUUUUGGGGGEEEE" 4/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Dakine Overload Convertible (200cm)
  • Pros:  HUGE, 2 Parts, Travel wheels
  • Cons:  Too HUGE, No Shoulder Strap,

Experience:   Just bought this as my first snowboarding bag. What can i say... its huge! I can fit everything that i need for my trips in this. clothing, accessories, snowboard, bindings boots. I dont have a 2nd board so i only use 1 of the bags, the other can just detach. It rolls around fine with all the weight but it has no shoulder strap to carry around in.

"It's HUGE!" 4/5/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Overload Convertible (200cm)
  • Pros:  Sturdy, two bags, cheap
  • Cons:  too big, no compartments, no shoulder strap

Experience:   This bag is cheap for the price and you actually get two board bags (one with wheels and one without). But this bag is way too big to travel with. No shoulder strap on either of the bags and it's hard to fit into a smaller car. I'm only using this bag to store all my snowboards and gears.

"HUGE!" 4/16/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Overload Convertible (200cm)
  • Pros:  Huge!, 2 in 1!, Padding
  • Cons:  No shoulder strap, No pocket and compartment,

Experience:   Awesome board bag, even its not really designed for snowboard. I actually bought 180cm, my mate got 200cm. The 180cm is big enough for my 159 board, boots, binding and everything else. 2 in 1 is good, but would be better if there is a shoulder strap. Overall its great.

  • Name: Dakine Overload Convertible (200cm)
  • Pros:  wheels, fits 2 boards,
  • Cons:  no small compartments,

Experience:   bought the 180cm one. used this to travel from Hawaii to Tahoe. 2 bags in one. we didn't even have to use the second bag, we only used the one with wheels and fit 2 boards (160cm and 140cm), 2 boots, 2 bindings (and still didn't exceed the 50 pound weight limit). love the wheels, makes it easy to haul around.

"its a MONSTER" 4/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Dakine Overload Convertible (200cm)
  • Pros:  fits alot of things in it, padded, extra bag
  • Cons:  needs a strap, DEFINETLY NEEDS A STRAP, HUGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Experience:   This bag is a monster. All your gear can easily fit in there with no problems. Its just difficult to transport the bag if you have a small board as it will fold over. The lack of strap would of been useful to transport it around. Inside is padded nicely, so u basically have got yourself a sleepingbag. If you have a small board i suggest you pack your favourite pillow in there too

"This bag is a beast!!!!" 4/12/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Overload Convertible (200cm)
  • Pros:  Big and roomy, Very well Padded, Well thought out design
  • Cons:  It's HUGE!,

Experience:   What can i say? This bag is huge! So big, that sierra has to ship it in it's own seperate box! I really can't complain though, since i did have a feeling that buying a 180cm fully padded bag, that splits into two, may be on the big side, but my wife was really thrown for a loop. The bag is solidly designed and i cannot talk it down one bit. The padding is great, better then my burton board sacks. I like how the two bags clip together and is pretty much an idiot proof system. The wheels are convenient, and my buddy was so impressed with my bag and it's hugeness that he had to order one himself :D. Overall, if you want something to protect your board and probably anything else you wanna throw in it, then get this bag, the convenience of splitting into 2 bags is also something that you shouldn't take lightly either. Buy this bag if you are on the fence about it, before they are all gone.

"Larger bags than needed...GREAT PRICE" 4/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Overload Convertible (200cm)
  • Pros:  Cheap, Serves it's purpose, Could store other things with it
  • Cons:  about 40cm too long, No inner pouches to store smaller things,

Experience:   First off, this bag is too long. It is probably intended to store other things along with your board but I don't necessarily want other things with my board in the bags. It is a good place to store your boots. However, the price is cheap and it even comes with two bags. If you need a place to store your board for the summer or to carry your stuff into the car...buy it!
