"Finally something that works." 11/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Pyramid Studs Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Better grip than rubber stomp pads,
  • Cons:  Have to apply properly,

Experience:   Found that these have waaayyy better grip than rubber stomp pads, especially if it's a good powder run when the rubber gets slippery. The metal ones allow you to put them in whatever shape you want to fit your boot and help to keep on your board.Would recommend these

"Just didn't Stick " 11/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Pyramid Studs Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Great Look, Price Is Reasonable , Custom Arrangement
  • Cons:  Fell Off Quickly,

Experience:   Upon purchasing the pyramids I stuck them on my board and they seemed to stick well. To my dismay as the day progressed I would lose one after another. By the end of the day I had lost everyone of the pyramids. Not sure whether I had improper technique during the adhering stage but I wasted the ten dollars in a single day.

Did you just stick them on or did you actually use a hair dryer to heat the surface of the board and the adhesive on the studs?

Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Pyramid Studs Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Good grip, Get snow of boots ,
  • Cons:  fall off,

Experience:   I rode with this stomp pad all last season, and after a couple days of riding two of the spikes fell off. another three or so weeks, another one fell off. the last 6 i have on still work, but it looks kinda silly now. they work really well if they stay on your board

"Not bad" 11/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Pyramid Studs Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Don't come off easily, Sturdy,

Experience:   When it comes to stomp pads, the Dakine studs are one of the better kinds that I have used. Because they're metal, they won't break off like the plastic spikes do. Also, you can really scrape off packed snow well from the bottom of your boots. I recommend this set of studs. Another cool thing is you can arrange the studs however you want.

"Useless" 12/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Pyramid Studs Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Customized placement,
  • Cons:  No traction, Fall off,

Experience:   This stomp pad is nice because you can make any shape you want on your board. However i feel like there is no traction when i use them and if there is any ice/snow on the pad or your boot they will not work at all. Also no matter how well you place them on they will fall off very easily. I suggest steering clear from this product and instead buy a different stomp pad.

"Dakine Stomp Pyramids" 12/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Pyramid Studs Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  You choose the placement of each pyramid, Light,
  • Cons:  Eventually they fall off,

Experience:   I owned and older but very similar version of these stomp pyramids. I think the best attribute is that you can create your own design..For example you can do a Plus shape, or a circle, or a T, or a straight line, etc(whatever fits your boots or visual preference best). When I mounted these I cleaned the board with rubbing alcohol, applied the pyramids, and set some books on them over night. They ended up sticking for 2 years until the first pyramid fell off. Then it wasn't until the 3rd season where the rest fell off one each day until they were gone.

"Encouraging Creativity with these!" 11/20/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Pyramid Studs Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Allowing custom placement of stomp pad, Great grip, Nice adhesion
  • Cons:  I don't bad experiences with these,

Experience:   I put these on my park board and I love them! I definately advise you to pick these up. Since I have a large shoe size I was able to space the studs out widely so I can get toe and heel traction. Buy these since your shopping for stomp pads right now lol. You will be happy.
