"works like it should" 9/29/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Dakine Spike
  • Pros:  Solid base, no slip,
  • Cons:  careful its sharp!,

Experience:   These bad boys work like they should. They hold your boot to the board, and they are solidly constructed. The spikes are sharp though, so be careful! The stickiness is great, but follow the instructions for applying to make sure they stay on.

"Does the job!" 4/1/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Spike
  • Pros:  Does what stomp pads are supposed do. It helps you of the lift and had the grip to let you ride with only your front foot in the binding. Great to get from the lift to the start of your run.
  • Cons:  Big and potentially ugly.

Experience:   Worth noting the the charcoal color is actually a little clear, so your can see your board graphics through it. Also, it is great for taking snow off your boots - awesome!

"Spike" 5/12/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Dakine Spike
  • Pros:  Good traction,

Experience:   This stomp pad is big and provides good traction coming off the lift on wet days. The clear looks great on a white board, but looks a little lame on my black board - should have got the charcoal. Also, you can cut the pad and position the spikes however you want. Easy to apply.

"Don't step on this barefoot" 3/18/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Spike
  • Pros:  It works really well, and if you have an eggshell white board like me, the white/clear pad blends in nicely
  • Cons:  it a little big, but it works well with my board.

Experience:   One time at night I stepped on it barefoot and I almost had to get pliers to remove it from the bottom of my foot

"Dakine Spike Stomp Pad Review" 3/11/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Spike
  • Pros:  The huge spikes give you great boot hold for getting off the lifts
  • Cons:  It's pretty big, so it might cover up some graphics on your board

Experience:   It was a little too big for my liking, but it was super easy to just cut off a couple rows of spikes.
