"Should be the only stomp pad out there" 12/16/2012
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Dakine Spike Stomp
  • Pros:  Huge , Holds boot with little effort , Clear

Experience:   This stomp pad is the best one iv ever used. It works even if full of ice and snow. I like that its clear sense it's so big cause you can still see all your board graphics. I think who ever decides to purchase this product will never want any other one.

"Really good stomp pad" 2/2/2012
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Spike Stomp
  • Pros:  Good traction, Looks good, Doesn't come off

Experience:   I was debating whether I should put this stomp pad or the studs type for my new board.  I didn't want to spend 10 dollars on the studs and take the chance of it falling off so I got this stomp pad. I got the charcoal for my black board and initially it looked big but when I put it on, it looked really good. Also, I just peeled and stick and put the high spikes parallel to the edge for better edge control and it worked great.  I couldn't have chosen a better stomp pad.

"Good Stomp" 12/2/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Spike Stomp
  • Pros:  Little ice buildup,

Experience:   Good pad bought two of these one for myself and the other for the girlfriend. I've never had to worry about snow and ice buildup on it. When i stomp my foot locks in right away. Only problem I had with the pads was I couldn't get the pad to stick to my gf board so had to trash that one and go buy another but eventually got it to work. Buy it if u want a good stomp pad.

"If you need a stomp pad, this is it." 11/24/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Spike Stomp
  • Pros:  Plastic studs, You can cut them into strips, Simple design
  • Cons:  Stomp pads cover up your graphics, Its a clear white color.,

Experience:   I agree that for most part stomp pads are not necessary. However, every once in while I find them help full. Especially, when I am getting bumped by some skier coming off the lift. This particular pad is very large. However, the reason I bought it is you can cut it into strips. You can probably use this one for 2 different boards. In addition, the adhesive won't be letting you down. Most of these pads benefit from heating the board with a hair dryer. I bought a stomp pad from Big B before this that fell off despite this trick.

"My favorite Stomp Pad" 11/13/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Spike Stomp
  • Pros:  Rugged, Does the job, Looks fine

Experience:   I have nothing but great things to say about this stomp pad. It does its job perfectly. In the past I have had stomp pads that don't adhere well to the board, but this thing is a beast. It keeps my foot in place and is able to take a beating. Highly recommended.

"Great stomp pad" 11/29/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Spike Stomp
  • Pros:  Lots of grip and support, Clear color and blend in with board,
  • Cons:  Large, Hard to remove, not pretty

Experience:   I have been using this stomp pad this season and so far it works great! Even though some people think stomp pads are unnecessary, this one in particular has been extremely helpful on providing support getting onto and off the lifts. With other stomp pads I have used in the past, they have not provided much support or more for looks. Have not experienced any slips or falls using this one, the only cons would be it kind of big and hard to remove off the board. Once it’s on, it’s not leaving your board.

"dakine stomp pad" 7/27/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Dakine Spike Stomp
  • Pros:  huge area, large spikes,
  • Cons:  not really needed,

Experience:   Ill start off by saying I dont think stomp pads are necessary. You can put your back foot against your binding and its just as easy to get off the lift. With that out of the way, I received one of these stomp pads free from a friend as they had extras so I decided to put it on one of my old boards. First thing I noticed was this stomp pad is huge. It is nearly the same width as my bindings are. Second thing was how big the spikes are on it...these things are like an inch high each. Regardless of how much snow is on my board they are still very noticeable when you stand on it. This makes getting off the lift as easy as if your back foot was strapped in. If you absolutely feel the need to get a stomp pad, purchase this one as you will not be disappointed.
