If you're still headed to the resort weeks after everyone else has hung up their skis or board for the season DAKINE's Viper Gloves are made for you. The lightweight spring gloves for men are made without insulation and a compression molded neoprene knuckle panel. They have a low-profile performance fit and their padding has made them a favorite of park and pipe riders.

"Viper" 5/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Viper Glove
  • Pros:  Thin, yet warm, Grip,
  • Cons:  Only last a season,

Experience:   I really like these gloves. They are super thin with a lot of grip, but keep your hands decently warm. I haven't had a pair of pipe gloves last much over a year, the Velcro was the first things to go on these.

"Great gloves for spring riding!" 10/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Viper Glove
  • Pros:   Low profile, Looks great, easily in and out,
  • Cons:  Not warm enough, Snow easily get in from wrist,

Experience:   Over all good glove, but not great. Its good for spring riding but I wouldnt recommend using it on cold days as the glove is not warm enough. The glove is completely waterproof. Another complain I have with it is that the snow can easily get in from the wrist since it does not have a band that tighten around the wrist. If you want a glove that low profile, and non bulky. This is one of the better glove out there. Also look into Dakine bronco before buying.

"My favorite glove so far" 9/16/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Viper Glove
  • Pros:  They are slim fitting and still warm, Nose and goggle wipe are very useful , not expensive
  • Cons:  ice can sometimes mess with the velcro straps, not good in powder, not 100% water proof

Experience:   These gloves are perfect for someone who rides in mainly warm temperatures. They don't have that bulky look that a lot of people dislike and will still keep your hands from freezing off. I would recommend them for people who are looking for a solid glove for cheap.

  • Name: Dakine Viper Glove
  • Pros:  perfect for warmer/spring days.. or for people who just have warm extremities. surprisingly warm and durable. comfortable and low profile.. may even fit under mittens (depending on the brand).
  • Cons:  not waterPROOF, so be aware.

Experience:   I wear these on and off the snow (around town during the winter) and for cold weather mountain biking.

"Perfect for spring and warm winter days" 2/22/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Viper Glove
  • Pros:  The Viper glove is lightweight and water-resistant: perfect for spring and warm weather winter days. They allow for great dexterity, allowing you to easily adjust bindings, flip through your mp3 player and probably even pick some boogers.
  • Cons:  Not for cold weather days.

Experience:   I picked these up as a spring glove but love them some so much that I wear them pretty much any time it's above 25 degrees. I've been really impressed with how dry the inside stays even when the outside is really wet!

"As much as I try not to wear them all the time, I just can't say no!" 1/29/2008
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine Viper Glove
  • Pros:  Low profile, excellent palm grip, handy nose wipe thumb, pre-curved fingers... As much as I try to rotate between all of my gloves, I can't help but to keep wearing my Vipers! Even on dumping Pow days, I can't seem to throw on an over-glove when I have my Da Kine Vipers in my bag. I don't need to take them off to use my phone, iPod, or walkie. They keep me warm enough in our great Tahoe weather!
  • Cons:  They are pipe gloves, so occasionally they'll feel wet because they aren't waterproof, but the materials used don't hold onto moisture.

Experience:   I'm going to pick up another pair of these Vipers because as great as my Burton Spectre gloves look, they don't keep me as warm as my Da Kine Vipers!
