"works... for a little while." 12/4/2012
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine XMat Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  grips pretty good, easy to install, cheap
  • Cons:  break kind of fast,

Experience:   This stomp pad is probably one of the most popular ones out. It's very easy to put on your board and is pretty cheap. The only downside is that if you use it a lot the little pegs break off super easily and it basically ends up being useless. I usually ride at least 20 times a year and it usually doesn't last that long ever. If you are just starting out and don't ride very often, this is a perfect little gadget and gets the job done for a good price. If you are looking for one that will last a long time and don't mind putting a few more dollars into it, I would suggest getting one without the little pegs. My recommendation for more frequent riders would be the Dakine Spike Stomp or the Burton Med Spike Mat Stomp Pad. I have the Dakine spike stomp pad and it's amazing.

"ok stompad for the price" 12/15/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine XMat Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  cleans snow off of your boot, non-slip surface,
  • Cons:  adhesive is low grade, too big,

Experience:   This stompad is alright considering the price you're paying. The adhesive isn't the greatest. I've had to restick the pad to my board a couple times now. Also, it's a fairly large stompad so if you have any cool graphic on the top of the board you might want to go with something a bit smaller or else this will cover the whole thing. On the bright side though, this stompad is fairly effective at removing snow from the bottom of your boot and it does provide decent grip for when you're getting off the lift.

"stomp pad" 11/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine XMat Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Good grip. still see color of your board ,
  • Cons:  sometime ice clogs it.,

Experience:   I like this stomp pad because it is light. It grips your boot very well but after a long day some ice blocks it. It is cool because it takes the color of your board. This pad will help you get on and off of lifts.

"Useful" 12/30/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine XMat Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Cheap, Serves it Purpose Well,

Experience:   Attached this to my board on my second day. It's helpful for me when I'm getting off the lift because my foot sometimes slipped off the board when I didn't line it up with the binding properly. I have the blue Dakine stomp pad, and it doesn't look bad on my board. And for the price that I got online versus at the store (almost double the price at the store), I am pretty happy with this purchase

"This is garbage!!" 11/29/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine XMat Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Looks good until it falls apart,
  • Cons:  It falls apart,

Experience:   I bought this stomp pad along with a recent purchase. It seemed like a really nice stomp pad. Sure enough when my order got here it was exactly what I expected. Unfortunately, shortly after applying it to my board it became separated from itself (the plastic from the stomp pad became separated from its own adhesive) This product is absolute trash, (at least in my case.... I may have gotten a bunk one)

"PADDD STOMPERRR" 9/29/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Dakine XMat Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  inexpensive, cool looking, does its job

Experience:   Hi everyone, I usually dont put stomp pads on my boards, but this one actually works great and really keeps your foot locked. It was like 5$ and i love it. If your looking for a cheaply priced stomp pad that actually works pick this one up. i put it on my k2 board and my boot size is a 9 and this thing would still hold me in

"Perfect Pad" 9/11/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine XMat Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  small, lightweight, great grip

Experience:   Iv'e had one of these for 5 years, Bought it in neon Pink so it would pop! If applied correctly this will not peel off your board, very impressed with how well it sticks. The grip is great as expected with spikes, no slipping. I have had maybe 3 or 4 little spikes break after all these years. It is small enough so it doesn't cover much graphic but still gives you great control off the lifts. I really like this pad and would buy it again.

"Stomp It!" 8/30/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Dakine XMat Snowboard Stomp
  • Pros:  Big Spikes, Works,

Experience:   Love this stomp pad! It's on my current board and works better than most pads out there. The spikes are big with some room between them so it doesn't get packed full of snow. Definitely recommend it!
