Mack Dawg Productions’ People Crew is back at it again with our new 2008 release, Down With People. Last year’s movie We’re People Too had major successes, including Austin Smith winning TransWorld SNOWboarding Magazine’s “Rookie of the Year” and “Video Part of the Year” from his standout debut. Expect the same quality in Down With People with some major new additions to the crew, including Simon Chamberlain, Louie Fountain, TransWorld SNOWboarding’s Reader’s Choice nominee Joe Sexton, and rookie grunt Curtis Ciszek. Documenting new riders as well as your favorite People during this epic 2008 winter, we continue to showcase the finest snowboarding, good times, and creativity from riders with some of the best style on the planet. The final product shows just how much fun snowboarding really is – all set to the best soundtrack in snow films today. MDP People’s focus has always been to showcase the most progressive snowboarding from individuals with heart and personality.

"Pretty Good film" 7/28/2012

  • Name: Down With People Snowboard DVD
  • Pros:  Great backcountry riding, Nice street footage,
  • Cons:  Music selection could be a little better,

Experience:   I got this dvd as a free gift with another purchase. i really did enjoy it, a lot of really good backcountry footage that was impressive. I think the music selection could've been a little better. but it's ok because the last part in the film played Crosstown Traffic by Jimi Hendrix so I was stoked on that. Overall i would recommend buying it, and if you get it for free that's even better

  • Name: Down With People Snowboard DVD
  • Pros:  lots of bonus footage, background on the riders,

Experience:   I got this dvd with my purchase on a snowboard and enjoyed the video a lot. There were some top notch snowboarding tricks. The only thing i didn't like about it was the fact that it was mostly rail riding instead of big air in the backcountry.

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Down With People Snowboard DVD
  • Pros:  big tricks, long rails,

Experience:   i got this dvd free with my purchase of a snowboard. they have some pretty amazing back country riding with some massive tricks and very sick rails. what i liked most was that it wasn't just riding. they also had the riders do a little bit of talking and give you some background on everything that they were doing or planning on doing.

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Down With People Snowboard DVD
  • Pros:  Awesome,

Experience:   the perfect combination of street rails and back country riders. The riding is sick. The music is sick. After watching it, it makes me wanna book a trip to try back country next year. i like the show and it makes me feel that they are fearless, the only part that i didn't like was the broken collarbone part. joe and simon are my favorites!

"Fun times!" 10/14/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Down With People Snowboard DVD
  • Pros:  nice mix of backcountry and urban, awesome rock tunes,

Experience:   What a fun time! You won't regret watching the forty odd minutes of sick backcountry and ridiculous urban action in this production. There are some crazy backcountry features being hit by various riders. I really enjoyed watching Bryan Fox's part where he hit (and ate it hard on) some really spectacular urban features and bombs the hill so fast that the camera man scorpions trying to keep up with him. Zac Marben's part is really cool too. He does some very imaginative suburban things. There's a really wicked trash can/rail line in a cul-de-sac or something of the sort, which is impressive. Seeing it is better than me describing it, so you'll have to watch the movie for yourselves. As an added bonus, there's Jeremy Jones being a bit of a toolbox during the closing credits. He's not called America's 1st Bad A$$ for nothing. So unless you either hate backcountry or urban and wouldn't want to watch a movie that has one of the two, I highly recommend picking this up.

"Back when the people crew was good" 10/1/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Down With People Snowboard DVD
  • Pros:  Vids spew fun, Fast pased clean editing, Park riding
  • Cons:  Not the BEST movie ever, The people crew sucks now,

Experience:   The first two people movies where great. They both had lots of up and coming riders with a fresh new take on snowboarding. The standouts to me are Zac Marben and Austin Smith. They are both really well rounded everywhere (urban and backcountry) which is rare these days. This movie has just the right mix of urban, park and backcountry.

"Awesome!" 6/12/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Down With People Snowboard DVD
  • Pros:  Joe sexton's part,

Experience:   I have to admit, i got the flick solely to see joe sexton's part. There was a lot of hype surrounded this kid. He delivered. I really enjoy all of the people crew movies, so this was no exception. Had the vibe of a group of friends that ride pretty much everything. fun!
