"Love the View" 11/19/2012
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Electric EG2 Goggles
  • Pros:  Wide field of vision, comfortable,

Experience:   All my friends were talking about electric goggles and how awesome the wide field of vision was. I decided to invest in a pair and have not been dissapointed. I can now say that these are the best goggles I have ever had the pleasure of owning. The peripheral vision of these is the best feature. My old dragon goggles gave me false sense of what was around me and these make it feel like you have nothing on your face. You can see everything around you. Zero problems with fog and the senses are very clear and look neat with the mirrored effect. Replacing the lenses are very easy as well if you end up getting them scratched or damaged in a fall. I would recommend these goggles to any rider over any other pair.

"Great Goggle" 8/13/2012
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Electric EG2 Goggles
  • Pros:  Great Style, Field of Vision,
  • Cons:  Doesnt fit all helmets, tends to fog on the top of goggle.,

Experience:   For the whole season last year (2012) I wore my pair of EG2's in LIPS colorway. I love the styling and the vision, but find that the upper goggle tends to fog when wearing my helmet. I don't have the fogging problem without a helmet so I'm sure it's due to the lid restricting airflow thru the goggle. I wear mine with a RED Mutiny II size XL. Sometimes the brim will push the goggle into my nose, but rarely. I would say this goggle fits my helmet nearly perfect, except for the fogging issue. (yes, I've tried different helmet vent configs... no avail) I would be wary if you have a smaller helmet in the same style... i really think that the fit would be tight with anything smaller than the XL.

"Wonderful" 11/14/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Electric EG2 Goggles
  • Pros:  Peripheral View, Light Weight, Very Flexible
  • Cons:  Price,

Experience:   I purchased the EG2's a few weeks ago and bought them mainly due to the way they looked. I am astonished with the view you get from these goggles. When I have them on I can't see either side frame or the top of the frame. The only part of the frame that is noticeable while wearing them is the nose area. The goggles are also very flexible (you can literally bend them anyway that you want to without having to worry about breaking the frames. I really like this due to the fact that most of the time I just throw my goggles in my bag and no longer have to worry about the frames getting crushed. I didn't have any problems with fogging either this weekend. When wearing a bandanna in the past my goggles always use to fog up but not with the EG2's. My previous goggles also didn't have lens's that I could interchange. With the EG2's I'm planning on buying a low light lens for the cloudy days which is nice since I don't have to buy an entire new set of goggles. I would highly recommend. They are a bit pricey but I believe they are worth it.

"The perfect goggle for seeing everything" 12/18/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Electric EG2 Goggles
  • Pros:  HUGE periphial view, great lens/fram combos, compatible with almost all helmets
  • Cons:  may be too big for some faces, some lenses not 100% mirror,

Experience:   Owned these goggles for a while now and I can't imagine using another pair. The amount you can see compared to almost any other goggle (aside from the Oakley Airbrake and VZ fishbowl which have similar peripheral views) is absurd. You can see directly left and directly right. The only time I notice I'm wearing goggles is when I try to find the frame. The top of the frame is nice and flat and I've never had a single bit of gaper gap with my Protec B2 helmet. Air never gets in between these two. The goggles are obviously large, so if you have a smaller face they might cover your entire nose...then the 2.5 would be perfect for you. The lens that came with mine (bronze/silver chrome) wasn't completely mirrored, you can see through the lens in some light, but it was decent enough. I highly recommend springing for an additional lens or two because those are tough at night/foggy conditions. really hard to see in flat light. Overall, they're wonderful and all I could want from a goggle.

  • Name: 2012 Electric EG2 Goggles
  • Pros:  Widest vision field of any goggles, Comfortable,
  • Cons:  None,

Experience:   These goggles are amazing! If you value a wide field of vision then you'll definitely want to pick some of these up. It's like going from a 480i 15 inch TV to a 1080p 61 in widescreen!

"Eg2" 9/24/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Electric EG2 Goggles
  • Pros:  Great visibility, Doesn't fog up as easily, Plenty of lens choices

Experience:   I love my Eg2's. They're great if you're a fan of actually being able to see. I love the fishbowl lens design. Makes everything more visible. Never had a better pair of goggles before. Although i hear they don't always fit very well with helmets. if that's your case than you might want to try the EG2.5's.

"EG2 for life!" 8/13/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Electric EG2 Goggles
  • Pros:  Amazing vision, Will not fog up, Easy to change lenses
  • Cons:  None,

Experience:   I bought these goggles last year because they looked awesome and I had always heard good things about them and Electric, and I can now say that these are the best goggles I have ever had the pleasure of owning. The goggles give you outstanding sight and peripheral vision, you can see literally everything around you. They have never fogged up on me, and they probably never will. The lens change is very easy and replacement lenses are readily available for a reasonable price. These are the three things I look for when buying a goggle, and electric has excelled in all three of these things. I would recommend these goggles to any rider or skier of any skill level, you will not be disappointed with them.
