Sierra Says:

Learn How to Wax a Snowboard

A triangular scraper will last longer because there are 3 sides to scrape wax from. There is no reason to use your credit card, spatula or any other random stuff to wax your snowboard or skis.

"Not wide enough to cover base width." 4/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: Flow Delta Scraper
  • Pros:  price ,
  • Cons:  not wide, hard to grip,

Experience:   I wouldn't use this to scrape the wax off of boards because it is not wide enough to cover the width of snowboard. I prefer those long ruler ones so I could scrape with one smooth motion. I cannot with this one. I have to scrape same area twice. Also it is very hard to get a good grip on it due to its triangular shape. The only thing this scraper is good for is to get wax off of small nose/tail area.

If you like the long ruler shaped scrapers, why did you buy a triangle one then? Flow makes small and long ruler shaped scrapers. Try Sports Stop.com

  • Name: Flow Delta Scraper
  • Pros:  Compact, Light, Convenient to carry
  • Cons:  Too Small, Hard to hold,

Experience:   I bought this thinking it'd be great to take with me, seeing as it small and easy to throw into any pocket. It's really annoying holding onto a triangle. Better off with one of those long ruler like ones. Doesn't really make or break the way you pack your gear.

"2010 Flow Delta Scraper" 4/20/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Flow Delta Scraper
  • Pros:  Triangle scraper, fits bags - amongst Flow's many!, Triangle shape gives you leverage over the scraper, Name brand, at great Sierrasnowboard price!!!!!!!!
  • Cons:  Doesn't cover the width of the board, Design could be better, larger edge, to cover wid ,

Experience:   A scraper that will easily fit most bags pockets, great idea. While it lacks the straightedge to cover the width of a board, it allows for leverage to the scrape and great for the lip and tail of boards! On the other hand, repeated scraping required by this Flow scraper versus an even one-and-done with Flow's straight or ruler like scrapers is a negative. Sierrasnowboard again has a smokin price, I plan to get it even lower, with the member discount. It feels good to move from a lift operator to a Ski Bum, that doesn't sound right?... How about Snow bum, better sounding?

  • Name: Flow Delta Scraper
  • Pros:  sharp edges,

Experience:   i cant complain about this scraper. it does the job and is made of pretty solid plastic. you wont be able to carry that easily but it would be a nice addition to your tool box.

  • Name: Flow Delta Scraper
  • Pros:  small (also con), fits nice, tip and tail
  • Cons:  small, hard to grip, sometimes digs into board

Experience:   sorry that last review was wierd... it entered before i had the chance to complete it. andyhow this is a really smal scraper that is pretty hard to use. you have to do everything twice but i guess that is just an opinion thing of whether you like the big ruler ones or not. hard to grip too but it will fit in anything.

  • Name: Flow Delta Scraper
  • Pros:  scrapes,
  • Cons:  shape,

Experience:   does the job, but still prefer the ruler shaped scrapers for ease of use and convenience. Works especially well on the tip and tail. can't complain for 4 bucks, hopefully it lasts.

  • Name: Flow Delta Scraper
  • Pros:  Easy to hold, Scrape edges,
  • Cons:  None,

Experience:   Good scraper to have in your waxing bag of goodies. I found it overall to be easier to use than the wide rectangular scraper I have; cheaper as well. The edge scraper bit won it for me.

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Flow Delta Scraper
  • Pros:  Convenient size for travel, Has the edge scraper thing,
  • Cons:  too small,

Experience:   I like how it's small enough to carry with you, but at the same time, it's too small to cover much of the base. I would prefer the rectangle scrapper instead since it covers a lot more area. I like how there's a part of scrapping the edges.
