"I don't Flow that well" 11/12/2012
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Flow Flite 1 Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Fast and Easy to put on, No tools required, You can break down the binding for storing
  • Cons:  Lots of adjustment before you get dialed in, Lose screws?, Wait for your friends to put their bindings on LOL
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   So I had these last year for a few days on a killer deal. On my first run I had to do tons of adjustment with the 4 clips to get the right fit. Once that's done you simply slip your boots in, pull the back up and go! Better yet, I put on my bindings while I'm on the lift (it's that easy.) Here's the thing that I didn't like. The darn bolt that hold the back and the baseplate came loose when I got off the lift. You know how people slam their boards against the ground to get snow off? I do that all the time and boy did the bolt went flying. never found it. Luckily someone gave me a zip tie (to tie the binding together) to get down the mountain. By the time I got down I cracked the backplate so I traded my friend for his binding. Don't get me wrong these were great. Maybe I got unlucky but that experience swade me from Flow.

"Never was really a flow fan...." 2/9/2013

  • Name: 2012 Flow Flite 1 Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Easy to put on/ adjust, Looks, Price
  • Cons:  Didn't fit my boot that well, Too many moving parts, Not too durable
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Just came back from Michigan and I decided to rent demo gear for a slightly higher price. Never tried flow bindings before but I heard they were convenient but I learned that you can't believe everything you hear. Adjustment was a pain in the butt since there were 4 different straps/clips that I had to adjust so i would get tht just right fit. So fast forward to my first jump in the terrain park; I currently own Burton Cartels back at home and those were ultra responsive but felt robust and sturdy when jumping; the flows were the opposite and I took it a little esier in the terrain park in fear that I would damage the bindings.... These would be great for back country/free-riding in my opinion, but not for the terrain park.

"Convenient" 9/1/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: 2012 Flow Flite 1 Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Easy in and out,
  • Cons:  Adjustments,

Experience:   It takes a while to adjust the binding to your boot so it's the right fit and your boot stays snug. But once you get that done it's real quick in and out while on the mountain. It's a lot easier to put the binding on a flat surface so having to put it on a sloped area was annoying. Good binding over all, but there's better out there.

Did you have any problems with the bolts on this binding? Did it stay attached to the bolt alright?

  • Name: 2012 Flow Flite 1 Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  quick and easy release, easy to adjust, cheap price
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I demo'd this binding. it is very impressive. I used to use step in binding, and after I saw this product, I decided to purchase this one. Super easy to entry and release. I don't need to wait for new step-in binding product.
