"my foot fell out!!!" 11/2/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Flow M7
  • Pros:  fast in and out, nice design , lightweight
  • Cons:  not enough control, not strong hold,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   Great binding if you are doing light riding. New riders will really enjoy it as most dont like to waste time on locking in. Once i was shredding in utah down a black and my foot came out, totally ate it. but after a little bit of tightening it was pretty good. had to take it easy after that tho.

"Very similar to traditional strap!" 10/12/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Flow M7
  • Pros:  FAST in/out, great for begginer/ intermediate ride,
  • Cons:  Looks great, Good toe side response,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Flow binding are simply the quickest way to strap onto your board (besides the step in). I like Flow binding over straps b/c they are very easy to use and very fast to put on. Great for snowboarders who ride with skiers that don't like to wait around. The binding can be loose after a few run, which may require strap adjustments. You have to watch out for snow build up in this binding, otherwise it will be hard to even pull your feet in. This is one of the top model from Flow, so it seems to be more durable that some of the flow binding that I have used in the pass. For those who are skeptical of flow bindings, give this binding a try. You will love how fast you can get and out of this binding.

  • Pros:  Adjustability, Easy in & out, Durable, Good construction quality, Lightweight, Comfortable, Well known brand
  • Fit:  fits fine

Experience:   The binding are great, love em. I also have a pair of Ride SPi's that I switched back and forth for a few days to see the differences. The M7's are a little to flexible for my taste, but to each his/her own. The main issue I had with them was that it was hard to get my boot into them far enough forward sometimes to lift the back up with ease, so it took a little grunt to get the back up occasionally. But i like my bindings really tight so, that might be the problem. Thats the only reason i didn't give em a 5

Experience:   I have Flow Pro 11's I've ridden for 4 years. I was sold after riding in them once. I will never go back to strap bindings. I love to skate of the chairlift, jamb by rear foot in the binding and flip-up the high back latch while riding right past the kids sitting on their rears adjusting their strap bindings! They look in amazement! Super comfortable (eight friends ride Flows and ultra responsive because there is more contact over the arch then just two straps! No Strap crush and no pain with Flows!

"Great bindings" 2/6/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Flow M7
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Lightweight, Comfortable, Well known brand, Popular model
  • Fit:  fits fine

Experience:   These are a great set of bindings if you're riding mostly on groomers and park. They are really comfortable and lightweight. The only caveat is that you have to spend some time prior to riding to really fine tune the binding to fit your boot. Once you have that down, it pops in and out quick and easy. A common error that I see people make while adjusting Flow bindings is that they don't follow the directions and put at least the 5 degrees of forward lean suggested in the manual. If you don't set that up properly, your boot will get stuck on the bottom of the folding highback, causing all sorts of difficulties.
