Flow Says: High performance, lightweight ride. The Team's high-end, injected magnesium baseplate and composite Dynalite hiback responds before you've even considered that cab 1080. Variable strap and hiback options allow endless adjustability for narrower carving stances or bowed-out stompability. An I-Flex Powerstrap and new MINIratchet buckles allow riders the versatility they need to adjust to all riding conditions.
  - I-Flex Powerstrap
- Locking MINIratchet strap adjustment system
- Dynalite ventilated hiback
- Stainless steel cable forks and all stainless steel hardware
- Lightweight injected magnesium baseplate
- Shock-absorbing base pad
- Toe and heel landing pad

  • Name: Flow Team
  • Pros:  Responsive, Strong, Easy Entry,
  • Cons:  none,
  • Flex:  stiff

Experience:   This binding is built for professional-level riding. The Dynalite HiBack is a blend of different fibers that provides incredible strength. If you want a quick-entry system and need aggressive performance, don't overlook this one.

"no likee" 10/19/2009
Helpful Review?   (3) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: Flow Team
  • Pros:  high end materials, light, highly configurable
  • Cons:  unimpressive performance, expensive, tiny ratchets
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   At this price, there was little chance I would have bought these, but had to demo them just to be sure if the many negative reviews on flows I'd read didn't pertain to me. This was their highest-end binding, so I knew I should really be able to judge all Flows on them. Unfortunately, they weren't nearly as stiff as marketed, I hated the way they fit/felt and the rear-entry system kept locking up, making them as slow to get on as standard bindings. Finally, their performance wasn't as good as my rome Targa (which I got at almost 1/4 the price of these Flows)

The price dropped to $125! =) I dont know if you got a chance to configure them correctly. Flow take a bit to configure and adjust to your boot. Once you do they should be great. I just bought these Ill make another review after I get a chance to ride it.

"Solid Bindings from Flow" 12/5/2009
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Flow Team
  • Pros:  Pretty light weight , Look sick,
  • Cons:  build quality (hardware comes loose),
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Took the Flow Teams out for a few turns recently. The bindings are great overall, and for Flows, very light weight. The carbon fiber highback is a nice touch, and overall the support is solid. The flex pattern on the bindings is probably more a mid-flex, very capable of handling kickers, and park runs. There are two quirky issues with the Team binding. The baseplate is shaped slightly different than standard flows, to provide more support towards the ankle. You may find certain boot widths tend to fit weird at first until you dial them in. The other issue I've noticed and heard from several people as well is the hardware can tend to come loose. The screws holding my highback into the baseplate, are already loose after two days of riding. Not a huge deal, just tighten them back up, but keep an eye out for the hardware if you're riding these. All in all an excellent binding from Flow, and at this price, it's a steal!

"Buy these on sale!" 12/4/2009
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Flow Team
  • Pros:  Easy in/out, Sturdy, comfortable
  • Cons:  Expensive,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   My buddy owns these and swears by them. However, I feel that he just liked them because of the large price tag. They were sturdy and the front strap was pretty comfy. OK response. Other than the rear entry, I didn't find anything about the binding that grabbed me. Especially not for $400.00.

"Buyer Beware!" 1/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Flow Team
  • Pros:  Super lightweight, Carbon fiber highback, Endless combinations,
  • Cons:  Cheap hardware, Pain to set up, Overpriced @ retail,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I would first like to say that this rating is not against Flow Bindings, but against TEAM. I also own a pair of Flow NXT AT's and love them. As always with Flow, you have to set them up to your boot, but the Team are the worst in that department. The hardware that Flow uses has to be the cheapest, or they just decided to use lock-tight on all of the screws. I ended up only getting the inside cable loose on both bindings. I now have the inside cable set to the far front, and the outside cable will not come loose and is stuck on the far back setting.

"Cheap, good bindings" 9/20/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Flow Team
  • Pros:  Strong, Easy entry, Lightweight
  • Cons:  Paint comes off, Takes ages to set up,
  • Flex:  stiff

Experience:   Have used this bindings for 2 years now. They're very lightweight, great overall performance, the support of this binding is solid. Compared to other Flow bindings I used this was a relief. The looks of this binding are also just great, online negative about this is that the paint came off. When you want to take them on the mountains you will find out that it'll take ages before you will find the perfect settings. But after that it is just great, really easy to get in and out. But when you into the pow don't take this bindings, it's just a pain in the ass putting them on in the pow, you will have to take them of most of the time, and start tuning them again....

"AMAZING" 11/29/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Flow Team
  • Pros:  Easy Entry, Ultra Responsive, VERY lightweight
  • Cons:  Hardware,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I purchased these here on sale last year for a mere $120! If you can snatch them up used or new for a discontinued price they are the best bindings you will ever own. They are one of the top 3 LIGHTEST bindings made in 2009, look AMAZING, and hold you in like no other. Not to mention the awesome flow entry which is super easy... I will NEVER use regular bindings ever again! If you get them just make sure to replace all hardware (bolts) that come with them for piece of mind (ive heard of them braking). I did this and everything has held up REALLY well. I will never buy another type of binding thats not flow...

"heavily overpriced!" 9/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Flow Team
  • Pros:  light, flow system, looks
  • Cons:  very expensive, falls apart, pressure points
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I picked these up at sierra for $112, and still I feel I paid too much for them. These are light, they look good, they're quick (flow system) and they fit my boot nicely. That's about all the good things I can think of. On the other side: they take AGES to set up. The main bolts holding in the straps and the highback are screwed in with special locking screws, which don't come loose. In order to set these bindings up, you need to drill out the screws and order new ones from flow (every owner I know had to do this, at least 5 different people). After you get them set up (finally!), the hardware still is this binding's weak point. After every 2 or 3 runs you have to retighten the screws. If you don't, you'll lose them! If you replace all the hardware by your own, these might make decent bindings, but not worth the full $500. On a last sidenote, these also gave me quite some pressure points, something Flow's don't normally do.

  • Flex:  stiff

Experience:   One of my best buys from Sierra boughts these together with a Forum John Jackson board, they fit real good you can adjust them how ever you want en they look awesome. The weight is also little en the support and feel is great. If you can find these buy them you won't be sorry.
