Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Flow The Five Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  so convenient, hold well, so simple. best bindings ever
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   flow, you slip them on you slip them off, your bum never needs to touch the cold ground. i used to have burton bindings but i got flow for my birthday from my mum. i was a bit hesitant to try them out, thinking that ill snap my ankle or something, alas i went to japan with both sets and on the 2nd day i tried them out and thought... WHY DOESNT EVERYONE USE FLOW! best bindings ever!!!!

"Zoom past your friends" 1/22/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Flow The Five Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Easy to use, Fast, strong bindings

Experience:   I picked up these bindings because the tech looked cool, where you don't need to completely redo your bindings every run. I felt at home switching from 09 burton customs to these, and I put my bindings on in less than 5 seconds, while my friends struggled to take only 30 seconds.

"great bindings" 12/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Flow The Five Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  quick, nice style, light
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I have used these bindings about ten times now and they are great. The only problem is that it takes some time to find the right adjustments. I beat all my friends in strap in time though, so no time is wasted.

"The Five" 10/11/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Flow The Five Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  easy entry, consistency, durable
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   This binding is great for lapping the park. i know people scoff at the easy entry but when you're hitting and hiking features all day nothing beats it. The one piece strap also performs very well for tweaking on rails, boxes, and airs. The one thing i can say the Five is lacking, is in the response area. i wouldn't take these on an ak spine run but for anything else it can get the job done nicely.

"Great Binding" 7/3/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Flow The Five Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Easy in and out, Flexible,
  • Cons:  Can't sit down to put on,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   These are really convenient for getting in and out easily but you can't sit down to put them on so it's a bit difficult if you're not on flat ground. Also if snow gets stuck under your boot you lose a little bit of control because your boot isn't flat on the base. Other than that these are great!

"great bindings" 6/29/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (4) No

  • Name: Flow The Five Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  fast , durable, responsive but not too responsive
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   these are fantastic bindings. it is incredibly easy to get into these bindings compared to the clickers. me and some of my friends went boarding one weekend and they all had the clickers and i had these. i was probably halfway down the run by the time they were ready. the next weekend all my friends had flows, no joke. these have a great response, they are stiff enough for all mountain shredding, but they are soft enough to take in the park. these are also extremely durable. i have used these for this whole season (which was for about maybe 20-25 days) and they still rode the last day like they rode the first day. there are no signs of wear on them whatsoever. all in all a great binding that i would recommend to anyone!

"These Suck!" 3/10/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (4) No

  • Name: Flow The Five Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  look pretty sick,
  • Cons:  buckles dont work very well, straps wear down easily, not as easy to get into as youd think
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I rode these bindings this year and absolutely hated them. Id rather wear the rental equipment to be honest. They didnt work well at all for my burton boots and would have to loosen and tighten them every time. You have to ride them a little loose if you just wanna click the high back up. Do NOT even think about getting these!

"Polarizing" 3/10/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Flow The Five Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Easy to buckle and unbuckle,
  • Cons:  Not snug enough,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I have an interesting take on flow bindings since I have the initial models of Flow bindings that were put out in the early 2000's. I use them on my all mountain, free ride board and have had a love/hate relationship with them for a long, long time. Sometimes I find them to be so convenient that I cannot believe more riders don't use them while other times I wonder why I simply cannot achieve the proper grip of boot that I long for. It's either it is too tight over the top of your foot and too loose in the back or it is vice versa. It's interesting that the company has clearly shifted it's focus from freeriding to trying to accomodate to park riders (which is evident in their sponsorship of such riders as Scotty Lago).
