Sierra Says: If you want maneuverability, comfort, and dampening then look no further, the Distortion is here. This binding comes equipped with urethane dampeners, a urethane highback, and the Genetic base, which is geared toward reducing the shock received from impacts off of kickers and when jibbing the various features in the park. Along with that, the urethane highback increases the range of motion you have in your bindings so you can use your ankles, like skaters do, thus allowing you to tweak your tricks with more style. With all the added base and strap padding that you receive you will feel more in-tune with your binding than ever before. This binding best compliments high-end freestyle snowboards.

Flux Says: With the GENTICS BASE and performance blend 30 nylon blend, the Distortion allows full optimization of board flex. By combining the GENTICE BASE with our urethane highbacks and dampeners, riders can enjoy and experience a wide range of motion only offered by Flux. The Distortion gives riders a skate style in the park & jibs, including kickers. This model is the most popular with our team riders.

Name: Flux Distortion
Pros: Comfortable straps, A lot of adjustment possibilities, Locked down my foot
Cons: Adjust screws are a little difficult to leverage,
Flex: soft

Experience: The flex of these bindings worked great for park riding and when I ventured out to the rest of the mountain. There straps were very comfortable and I never had any slipping or loosening. I tightened these bindings once and didn't worry about them the rest of the weekend.
