Sierra says: The new Kicker SLR is a medium-flexing freestyle boot with a great out-of-the-box fit. The Level 2 liner is super comfy and supportive to ensure your feet stay happy when you are thrashing the mountain. Another great feature is the Air Sole which provides impact absorption and vibration dampening. All in all, the Kicker SLR is perfect for the intermediate all-mountain freestyle rider looking for a great fitting, low-profile boot.

Forum says: Lightweight meets heavy duty in the 2009 Kicker. The ease of SLR lacing is combined with lightweight comfort in our full-featured freestyle workhorse. Back again with team-rider improvements, the new Kicker stands solid atop our combination Air/EVA mid-sole for comfy cushion and contact. A full-length footbed supports your foot's arch and our Gold Link internal cuff cradles the ankle. To aid in overall durability, a new rubber mini-backstay has been built into the Kicker. From the park jumps to the powder, to street rails and the urban wasteland, Pat Moore runs the Kicker. Maybe you should, too.

  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  11.5
  • Boot Size:  11.5

Experience:   These boots work great they have a true fit, the slr is easy to adjust on the fly and works great if you don't like to lace up your boots. The tread on them makes for good hiking traction in heavy snow overall good buy and happy with the product.

"Forum Kicker SLR aka Black Market RETRO Jordans" 3/31/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Forum Kicker SLR
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  Heel hold, Easy lacing, Good quality, Warm, Breathable, Waterproofing, Well known brand
  • Cons:  Uncomfortable, Difficult in & out
  • Fit:  stiff

Experience:   I love these boots. I am a NOOB, and wanted a pair of Jordan Boots but was disappointed to hear that Jordan doesn't make books. So when I fell upon these fresh boots, I almost jumped out of my skin. I think these boots are "Uncomfortable" & "Difficult in & out" simply because I have only used them a couple of times down the slopes. All and all, these boots feel. look & ride awesome! I'll write another review next season after some good wear and tear. Till then, GOD BLESS!

  • Cons:  Low quality
  • Fit:  average

Experience:   Not the best quality on the base of the boots, i rock the flow m9 bindings and the bolts tear up the soft base of the boots. These boots look like the old school jordans, love the look! The lacing system is the best in the industry. you can seperatly lace up the bottom half and the top half of the boot. If your toes are to tight but the ankle and up if fine, you can loosen the toes, very nice to have on a boot.

  • Pros:  Heel hold, Comfortable, Easy lacing
  • Fit:  soft

Experience:   I won't use it til Nov. However, it's very comfortable and light with zero heel lift. I normally wear 11 sneaker and 10.5 fits me perfect. Hopefully it's as comfy on snow as on carpet
