"The best technical coat for the money" 12/11/2009
Helpful Review?   (3) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Foursquare Romero
  • Pros:  Supremely warm, Looks fantastic,
  • Cons:  Puffy can be worn alone but looks a bit suspect,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Baggy, and long on the arms (but I'm 5'7 with 42 chest so it's often a problem)

Experience:   Absolutely fantastic bit of kit, which can have the puffy zipped out for regular/snowdome use, or zipped in for the Banff -20s. Beautifully made, and loads of pockets, for my bullet tool, and assorted other cr@p. Such stunning value at $83 that you would need to be a headcase to pass it by. I bought blind, as the SierraSnowboard elves were too busy to put up a picture, but was certainly not disappointed.

"Awesome" 7/5/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Foursquare Romero
  • Pros:  Warm, Looks, Ratings
  • Cons:  Heavy,
  • Jacket Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Better then expected

Experience:   Fantastic Jacket, awesome waterproofing and most importantly keeps me warm at all times. Only problem is with the inner lining in the jacket the puffy part it makes the jacket way to heavy otherwise its a very nice jacket

"Great performing jacket at low low price!!! " 6/29/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Foursquare Romero
  • Pros:  Tons of variation in warmth (removable liner, etc), dope patterns, strong snaps, zippers, skirt
  • Cons:  very heavy, liner doesnt snap in very securely,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Baggy but not huge

Experience:   I love this jacket. It looks dope, works in almost all weather conditions (I even wear mine as a rain coat because the fabric is so waterproof), is really comfortable. The liner is incredibly warm, but can also remove insulation inside of the removable liner to vary insulation while on the mountain. If anything its TOO warm for most conditions -- I almost always ride without the removable liner. Only real con is that the jacket weighs a lot. Not bothersome while wearing it, but may hold you back a bit if youre going all day or busting aggressive tricks. However, you can't beat the breathability/waterproof ratings, warmth, and function of this dope looking jacket at such a price!

"Cool Jacket!" 6/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Foursquare Romero
  • Pros:  Removable liner very versatile, Waterproof, Keeps me warm
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Bit baggy but I like it

Experience:   Cool jacket! 25k waterproof! - That's like it can withstand a blast from a water cannon and you'll still be dry inside. Good for all weather conditions ie...sunny - just wear the liner, warmish or cold - just wear the outer liner, freezing blizzard - wear the full kit.

"Good looking jacket!" 4/17/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Foursquare Romero
  • Pros:  Looks great, Love the fur, Good waterproof ratings
  • Cons:  Too big ,
  • Jacket Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  XL
  • Fits Like:  XXL
  • Description:  Too big

Experience:   My bf bought this jacket and he's pretty tall (6 ft 4 in), so he generally needs an XL for his height. He could have easily got away with a L (although according to the sizing chart, apparently he was an XL), as I found this XL was massive. Apart from that, the jacket looks hot! I love the fur, and there seem to be plenty of pockets. At 25k waterproofing you gotta be happy!

"Heavy Jacket" 4/9/2010

  • Pros:  warm, waterproof,
  • Cons:  heavy,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  XL

Experience:   This jacket is awesome for warmth, waterproofness and protection, but it is VERY heavy. If you are travelling with it be prepared. Awesome jacket though, although the style is a little bland.
