"Giro G10" 7/29/2014
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Giro G10
  • Pros:  Lightweight, warm and comfortable, well ventilated

Experience:   Great helmet that looks cool and performs well just like all Giro products. Lightweight and very comfortable. Open/close venting helps adjust for heat when temp changes or to close when snowing. No need for a thermal/wicking hat underneath. Helmet keeps me warm when it is freezing out.Perfect helmet!

"Great" 1/1/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Giro G10
  • Pros:  Works great with tuneups, Warm, Large enough to fit big heads
  • Cons:  Doesn't look that cool,

Experience:   I went with Giro because it was the only brand where the XL would fit my abnormally large head. I've been pretty pleased with it. It's always warm, comfortable, and works GREAT with the giro tuneups. It fit well out of the box, and I haven't messed with any of the different adjustment features. My only issue is that it doesn't look that cool. If I had to do it over again, I'd get one of the rounder designs, like the Revolver.

"Not worth it" 9/20/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Giro G10
  • Pros:  Cool Look,
  • Cons:  Doesnt sustain impact,

Experience:   I had this helmet for a season and the outer shell cracked. Not because I was doing anything stupid, but just because its a low quality helmet. Go for a bern or a R.E.D.

"Not the best" 9/20/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Giro G10
  • Pros:  Don't get me wrong it is a good helmet,
  • Cons:  NOT DURABLE,

Experience:   I purchased this helmet quickly to get out on the slopes, it actually held me back. I don't know if it was the carrier or the brand but the helmet came apart when i was pulling out the vent plugs. Almost all of the removable parts snapped off instead of being able to go back on.

"Great helmet" 3/12/2014
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Giro G10
  • Pros:  Easily adjustable, Good ventilation, Looks good
  • Cons:  adjustment wheel to sometimes twist into your hair,

Experience:   This is a great helmet. It fits my large size head very well and the vents are really useful to turn on or off depending on the weather conditions at the time. It has definitely protected my head numerous times and I feel very safe wearing it. The fit clicker on the back of the helmet is great to adjust it correctly for your size head, unfortunately, sometimes, my hair does get twisted with the adjustment. Overall though, I can't ask anymore from a helmet. It looks good, protects the noggin and adjusts very well to conditions and head types. So grab it and enjoy!

"Nice Features Make a Difference" 2/22/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Giro G10
  • Pros:  Ventillation System, Size Adjustment, Coverage
  • Cons:  Ears hurt after a while,

Experience:   This helmet has a few nice features my old one did not and they are sooo nice. 1) The ventillation system which is just a slider on that top that opens, half-opens, or fully closes all the vents. This makes a huge difference in how warm or cold you are. 2) The size adjustment knob in the back adjusts the inner frame of the helmet to fit snugly on your head. This is nice for safety and comfort and keeping gopro videos steadier. 3) The coverage of the helmet means I don't have any big gaps in between my goggles and my helmet front and don't need to wear a hat underneath to keep warm. The only downside is the ear parts keep me warm but start to bother my ears after a while. I really like it.

"Great Helmet" 12/29/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Giro G10
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Good Fit,

Experience:   I was debating for the longest time whether or not to get a helmet, but after my brother took a big fall last season I finally decided it's not worth the risk to not wear one. This helmet is great because it's sleek and lightweight. The rear adjustment also lets me wear a balaclava underneath on colder days and still get a comfortable fit. And then when it's warmer I just slide the vents open. The only bad thing is that the fit with my oakley crowbars isn't as good as I'd like it to be. Maybe the fit will be better if I get giro goggles.

"Giro G10" 12/26/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Giro G10
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Warm, Very Safe

Experience:   I love my G10! Its my first helmet and I am very happy. Unfortunately I only had one colour choice but I was lucky it goes with my jacket as we all know how colour coordination is important! But on the honest side it is very very warm, fits well and keeps your head nice and safe! Try it out for yourself!

"giro g10" 11/27/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Giro G10
  • Pros:  vents, earphones, padding

Experience:   so i have been searching for a good fitting helmet for years now. i was never able to afford giro g-series before untill now. i tried the g10 on and i must say it was best fitting/feeling helmet i had ever had on my head. it is nicely cushioned with adjustable strap that allows you to tighten it until it feels just right. earphone feature is just what all the helmets should have. adjustable vents is another great feature. u can have them fully opened/ half opened or closed if you dont like the air to get in under your helmet. overall i think its a great helmet. light, vented and i believe it also looks pretty cool. its not the top of the estheatic line you can find today but definetely its worth its money.
