"Decent Goggles" 3/25/2010
Helpful Review?   (4) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Giro Manifest Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  Silver lenses are top notch, nice and polarized, Quick lens swap,
  • Cons:  A little on the big side, Made for a narrower face,

Experience:   I got the silver lens, and so far, I love the goggles, its perfect for sunny days. I also like the fact that it's a mirror finish. As someone did mention below, it doesn't fit certain noses, or at least not mine either. It has more of a curvature to it which is perfect for a slender face, whereas a round would have to tightened the strap a bit more for it to hug the face. Haven't tried to swap for a new lens because I didn't have any, but I tried taking the lens out and it was quick simple, under 30 secs. Overall, I'm very happy with it, I would have given it 5 stars if the fit was just a bit better.

  • Name: Giro Manifest Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  Very comfortable, Fit face well, Great vision
  • Cons:  None,

Experience:   I demo'd these at snowshoe and they were awesome. Fit great with or without a helmet and gave me great clarity. Didn't impede my vision at all and it felt like I didn't have goggles on.

  • Name: Giro Manifest Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  Great clarity, Excellent field of vision,
  • Cons:  I broke mine,

Experience:   I rocked these last season, fitted perfectly, but yes i do have a narrow face. Crystal clear and looked better in the flesh than in photos. Have to say that although I've never broken goggles before, I obliterated these in a massive bail, think my edge basically shredded them. Can't really fault the construction though, probably me being a muppet really

  • Name: Giro Manifest Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  Lens change system works well, You get 2 lenses with the goggles, Quality materials and Construction
  • Cons:  none,

Experience:   These goggles fit great with my old Giro 9 helmet. The lens change system works really well, and is a lot better than most of the other standard lens changing systems out there. Most other goggles rely on lots of flexibility in the frames, but are always quite difficult to use. Even without gloves on, you can struggle for ages with other goggles. But the Manifest lens change system works so well that I take both my lens with me while I ride, and its super easy to switch between lenses, even with cold hands. My only gripe is that Sierra doesn't stock the replacement lenses. If they did I'd by a bunch of different colors. These goggles are my do-it-all pair now. No more carrying around multiple pairs!

"great vision" 5/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Giro Manifest Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  fantastic clarity,

Experience:   These goggles give you a fantastic wide angle of vision, they are quite wide (same width as Smith Prodigy) which is a good thing for vision but it's a tight fit for my medium sized helmet. The goggles feel like they are made for someone with a large face, they fit great everywhere but are not 100% sealed around my nose. They are good when breathing through your nose but when you breathe out through your mouth, the air manages to get into the goggles and fog them up.

"Sweet Goggles" 2/22/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Giro Manifest Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  Looks great, good sun protection, easy to swap lens, fits with helmet
  • Cons:  Not that great a fit around face shape,

Experience:   Just tried these yesterday at North*... pretty sweet pair of goggles. It came with an extra lense that I didn't use since it was dark most of the day... extra lense also has a nice case so you don't have to worry about it scratching up. These fit well over my Smith helmet, and were comfortable on my face... I would have gave this 5 stars but my only complaint is that it didn't fit snug around my nose (I have a flat asian nose...). When I got to high speeds, I could really feel some wind coming through the goggles and to my eyes... the only place where that could come through is the bridge of my nose... I guess I need an asian fit goggle. Everything else is great, excellent field of vision, looks fantastic, blocks the sun.. a great value goggle

"Overall a good choice in goggles" 2/3/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Giro Manifest Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  Includes 2nd lens, Comfortable, Nice look
  • Cons:  Old model: 2008 on box, Poor user manual, Thin foam

Experience:   I initially was very pleased with these goggles when I received them a couple weeks ago, but after actually using them I did find a couple things I don't like. They are indeed comfortable and attractive as others have said. However, the foam between the plastic and the foam that sits on your face is extremely thin, so the cold wind penetrates when it hits you from the side. (Head on into the wind is fine.) On cold windy days you might want to use different goggles or wear a head mask that covers everything except your eyes. Also, the system for changing the lens is not quite as easy as it suggests. It really fought sliding into place properly, but I succeeded after several minutes. The only other issue that concerns me is the model year. Being several seasons old, I'm not sure how long it'll be before I won't be able to by replacement lenses. The good thing is even tho it's 2008, it fits and looks perfect under my new 2012 Giro Nine.10 helmet. Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase.

  • Name: Giro Manifest Goggles Men's
  • Pros:  huge view, 2 pair of lenses , great look

Experience:   I just had ordered these goggles from trusnow and I just got them in and they are sick! the clearity of the lense is just insane compared to what I used to have. They come with 2 pair's of lenses witch is also great because most dont. I have not yet tried them out on the snow but from what I can see they will be awesome and work extremely well. I can't wait to use them that look really good on. Thnks trusnow for having such goggles at such a low price
