"good high tops" 7/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Gravis Lowdown Hi Cut Skate Shoes Men's
  • Pros:  keeps the snow off your ankles, cool sole design,
  • Cons:  venilation holes let water in when walking in snow, low traction sole,

Experience:   i wear these shoes to the mountain every timer i go cause they're high tops and keep my feet and ankles dry and happy. the only con about these shoes is that the two vent holes on the inside of the foot let in snow and water in the winter(although they're very nice to help vent the she in the summer), so i fixed the problem by putting a piece of duct tape on the inside of the shoe to cover the holes in the winter. then take the tape off for the summer months. the other slight con for the winter is that the sole of this shoe has almost no traction at all, so walk carefully in the snow with these. although the boombox pattern on the sole looks cool. overall a great shoe that is super durable, but lacks traction in the winter. still they're my favorite shoes to get from my car to the lodge.

"casual skate shoes" 12/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Gravis Lowdown Hi Cut Skate Shoes Men's
  • Pros:  casual stlye, comfortable wear, perfesct for sk8!!!
  • Cons:  in europe the largest size is only 11!,

Experience:   Gravis is the footwear brand of burton and as we know burton is the the oldest and the best snowboard brand! This shoe is high top so it protect skateboarders ankes! There was a problem with the latest series of this shoes but the designers resolved this problem! There was very slim leather layer on the side of the shoefloor and it came off after a couple of use! i would recommend it to everyone who likes snowbaording and skateboarding!

"decent shoes" 1/29/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Gravis Lowdown Hi Cut Skate Shoes Men's
  • Pros:  cool colors,

Experience:   I liked the shoes when I bought them and I was able to get my regular size. They came in a lot of colors which was cool. But like someone else said, if you have flat feet they can hurt a little bit, I was able to get used to it after a while.

"ROBOTS! Great design" 12/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Gravis Lowdown Hi Cut Skate Shoes Men's
  • Pros:  Great Fit, Comfortable, Cool design and great price

Experience:   I love these shoes. Since I have a wider foot it is hard to find a company that makes a shoe that fits my foot. These Gravis Lockdowns are great. Not only do they fit correctly but the design is awesome. Its never to late to enjoy the younger side of life and these are my kid time awesome shoes. The materials seem good quality too. I wear these all the time now and they show minimal wear...and thank goodness no tears. I'd highly recommend these. Good shoes at a great price, what else could you ask for?

"Great Shoes" 11/27/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Gravis Lowdown Hi Cut Skate Shoes Men's
  • Pros:  Comfy, Supportive,
  • Cons:  Little Tight,

Experience:   So i got these shoes a couple months ago when they were $24. I was a bit skeptical about high tops, but once i got these shoes i fell in love with them. I feel like a boxer when i wear them and they have great support,There is great ankle support that has yet to give way and i love skating in these shoes. The only con, is that you have to unlace the top 2 holes each time to slide your foot in nicely otherwise you get a little sketched out thinking something will tear. Other than that great shoes id recommend them to anyone.

"Lowdown on The Gravis Hi Tops" 10/31/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Gravis Lowdown Hi Cut Skate Shoes Men's
  • Pros:  Cool Colours, Comfy,
  • Cons:  Too big in some areas,

Experience:   I got a couple pairs of these because they were on sale and they are a great shoe for the price i paid. the are comfortable and they have plenty of colours to choose from. I think they run a bit bigger than most skate shoes like DC and Globe but i dont wear them skating so it doesnt really matter.
