"Low profile laptop bag" 7/12/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Gravis Metro
  • Pros:  Numerous compartments, Compact size , Padded laptop sleeve
  • Cons:  Unlaminated zippers,

Experience:   This is a fairly well-built pack with padded laptop sleeve and a whole host of zippered compartments that each have a number of organizing dividers. It's basically a commuter bag for someone who needs their laptop and electronics accessories with them - ipods, cameras, memory cards, power cables, and the such. It's very useful for organizing a lot of small items, and by keeping the main compartment tight, the whole package is slim and low profile. On that same note, this bag isn't ideal if you have a lot of bulky items to carry. Gravis says its volume is 25L, which is about 1500 cubic inches (the unit that most backpacks quote their size in). To give you an idea of the size, the smallest backpacks that Jansport makes (those generic-looking ones) are 1500-1900 cu in. For a day's worth of textbooks you'll want something closer to 2500 cu in.

"I own 3!" 10/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Gravis Metro
  • Pros:  Awesome laptop padded sleeve., Well Made!, Nice dividers!

Experience:   I love this backpack so much I bought 3! I got my first on in the beginning of this year. I like it so much I order an extra on for me and one for my husband. It is very well made! I love the details it had. I have the artillery and I love the pattern and the detail on this back. The picture only does not make justice, it is much nicer. The bad have this really cool wooden zipper that I love. It is very well divided with an awesome padded sleeve for a laptop and plenty of space for everything else. I used to bring my stuff to the hill and also to bring my books to school. Awesome buy!

"Good but not great" 10/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Gravis Metro
  • Pros:  Compact, Good internal pockets,
  • Cons:  Quite tall, Impractical external pockets,

Experience:   This bag is good for a daily bag. Beware it is taller than it looks in the picture - it extends slightly above my shoulders when on my back. The internal pockets are quite good with plenty of room for documents, a laptop and some smaller bulky items. However, the external pockets are small and not particularly practical.

  • Name: Gravis Metro
  • Pros:  Sturdy, Stylish,

Experience:   A friend of mine has this same backpack in a different color and we both agree that this backpack is very durable and stylish. Comfortable fits laptops with extra support and padding. The padded shoulder straps provide great support when packing heavy items. Overall, very wonderful backpack and great price!

"Cool backpack" 8/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Gravis Metro
  • Pros:  Design is great, Laptop compartment, Lots of space
  • Cons:  Bigger than what I anticipated,

Experience:   This is a great bag for hauling around gear. Originally I purchased this bag to take gear up the mountain with me as something that would fit a jacket & fleece. However, it's a lot bigger than I thought & actually makes a great gym bag. I can pack it full of a change of clothes & sneakers - AND I'll still have space. I'm sure it will be excellent to travel with as well. Totally well worth the price.

"Still a great buy" 7/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Gravis Metro
  • Pros:  price (was cheaper though!), durability,

Experience:   Saw this a while ago when it was a steal at 75% off, but it's still a great buy at this price. Works well as a commuter or school backback with colors that aren't flashy enough to deter use as a work pack.
