Sierra says: The Believer is K2 Team’s favorite board for high-end freestyle performance. Designed with Flatline Technology this year, the Believer is an even more versatile freestyle board than before. The true twin design makes transitioning from your regular to switch stance simple while the flat camber makes maneuvering in and out of the park a breeze. We recommend this board for the intermediate to advanced level riders who want to start moving their skills from the park to the backcountry. The speed, stability, and pop you receive from this board will keep you daring enough to hit the biggest lines anywhere on the hill. All you must do is believe in yourself and you can do anything on the Believer.

K2 Says: This year the team requested we add our all NEW! Flatline Technology to make the Believer even better. We answered. The slightly longer tip and tail and Twin-tip Hyper Progressive sidecut combined with the Hybritaper Construction instills confidence that every spin will maintain stability and control while the WH3 Core takes lightweight strength and lively flex to new levels.

Base color may very.

  • Pros:  fun, semi damp, amazing edgehold

Experience:   Basically, this is one of the best decks I've been on. In short, its a lightly more lively ride dh2. Board is stable, fast, poppy, and is a little damp, but still lively enough to be interesting. this may be due to thelack of the slimewalls, not sure. One great thing I discovered about this deck is that it holds an amazing grip and the base has held very well to regular riding. Haven't don't too much in the park because its a little big, but its a very solid board.

"Good all mountain board" 6/30/2010

  • Pros:  Stability, Design,
  • Cons:  Heavy, Too stiff,

Experience:   I used this board in Australia, it is very stable on high speeds, and i found it easy to turn with. Jumps were easy using this board and the landing is pretty forgiving. I would say this board it more suited for all mountain to free ride style riding. On the neg side, i found this board very heavy and too stiff compared to my arbor heritage. I am 180cm tall and 60-70kg, and i bought a 157 board, but i think i should have bought a smaller size to enjoy this board more in the park.

"2009 K2 Believer" 2/12/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: K2 Believer
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  Cool tapered tail and nose, Smooth ride, Forgiving landings
  • Cons:  Weighs a bit much, Pretty stiff,

Experience:   I have a 2009 K2 Believer. I realize that this is the place to write about the '10 model, but they are pretty much the same. It's the first board I have ever owned, but probably the 8th I've ridden on. In my opinion, this is the best board I have ever ridden. It rides real smooth and buttering is so easy with this thing. The edges stay sharp and with a regular camber board, it is very easy to control. It isn't that sensitive so you can ride over some pretty harsh terrain and not feel it, so if you are going for feel, I would not recommend this board. If you simply want an All Mountain board that you can take to the park, I'd say get it. Feel free to comment on my profile if you have any questions.
