"OK Boots" 11/3/2013
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: K2 Maysis Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Dual BOA is awesome, Good flex, Good fit
  • Cons:  Inner BOA not so good, Done after 60 days, Packed out fast
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  10.5
  • Boot Size:  9.5

Experience:   When I first got these boots they were a bit too stiff, softened up nicely after about 10 days, but then around 55-60 days they were toast. Mushy and too soft. I like the dual BOA but the inner BOA seemed to ride up a bit throughout the day and cause some minor pressure points on the top of your ankle. Good boot, but don't expect more than a season out of them.

"Super Comfortable" 1/7/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: K2 Maysis Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Very comfortable, Great hold, Convenient
  • Cons:  BOA breaks easily,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  12
  • Boot Size:  13

Experience:   This is the most comfortable boot I've ever owned. The performance and hold is great too, but the best part is how easy it is to get on and get tight with the double boa, and then how unbelievably easy it is to slide your foot out when you're done with the day. Just pop up the boas and slide your foot out. No problem. The only complaint I have is that one of the boa cranks broke after probably 10-15 days of riding. But it was a super easy fix.

"Very comfortable" 12/23/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: K2 Maysis Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Comfortable, light, good amount of stiffness
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  8.5 (9.5 sneaker)
  • Boot Size:  8.5

Experience:   I'm ride more groomers and backcountry so comfortably with enough stiffness and suport is key. I havent rode with them yet, but I can already tell that it has a very comfortable inner lining and also a lot of cushioning in the foot bed. It's not a reduced footprint but the boot isnt that big anyways. The boa system seems decent, havent noticed any pressure points from walking around in them.

"Decent Product" 4/1/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: K2 Maysis Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  comfortable, responsive,
  • Cons:  Packs down a bunch, slow break in period,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  11
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   Well i have had my battles with these boots. They perform really well and are pretty responsive. i used to have burton ions and they have similar stiffness to that. They are supposed to be a 7 of 10 on the k2 scale and i would agree with that. but they took me like ten full days to break in and become comfortable. also the liner packed down probably a size. the boa is okay and these are sort of dual boa. They have one wheel for the liner and one for the boot. I think i would look for a real dual boa where it does the toe and ankle separately. Overall they came as advertised and i got them for $190 so a good price. But i probably wont be buying them again in the future

"Simply the best..." 3/31/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: K2 Maysis Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Comfort, Stay-snug double BOA system, Warm
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  11
  • Boot Size:  11

Experience:   I bought these as a replacement to my laced Bruton Freestyle boots. I couldn't have been more impressed and pleased with my K2s. The second I tried these on at my local store, I turned to the employee and told him to ring me up immediately. I broke thee in on a trip to VT and didnt have anything but good things to report. Comfortable, soft lining, and the BOA system that had no issues during the entire 2011-2012 season. These mid-flex boots were exactly what I was looking for.
