How to choose skis..

Sierra says: The One Luv is amazingly comfortable in a wide variety of snow conditions. The waist width @ 74mm is wide for the 90/10 category and when combined with the fairly soft flex makes this the easiest of the 90/10 skis in variable conditions. This, like all K2's has a smooth, stable, and quiet ride over rough snow. While not as nimble as some lighter skis, the One Luv pays the skier back with an unflappable feel in rough conditions as long as the speeds are moderate. On the smooth groomers where the One Luv is really most at home, the feel is again, smooth and stable. Pros: got on deal with bindings,
Cons: bad base, edge wall peeling,

Experience: got this set at sportchek, a national sport store for 350+tax which is a pretty good price considering l got bindings with them (matching) l wasn't sure which l wanted to do (board or skis) and since such a great price came l couldn't pass it up. soon enough, l found out it was prety bad set of skis. 1st the edge started peeling, hard to describe it, but basically l think its the plastic covering the artwork that was falling apart. then keeping in mind l only hit groomers, the base lost a chunk and had a hole in it. luckily my bf fixed it for me but still pretty stupid how fragile it was. just imagine me bringing it to the park! l would have destroyed it. all in all, wouln'dt buy again. go boarding instead even though it cost a bit more. Ps l didn't know of warranty until it expired

Pros: Easy to Turn, Good for beginner to Intermediate,
Cons: Bit heavy,

Experience: Used both in Australian slush/ice and Japan on the light and fluffy groomers, trails and side country. Holds up well in all condition. Only downfall is it is a little heavy and for a beginner it tends to tire your legs out after half a day or so until you get used to them Can't go wrong for the price
