K2 WWW Rocker

Sierra Says: The WWW Rocker takes jibbing performance to the extreme. By having a reverse-camber true-twin shape you will easily be able to transition and maneuver throughout the park features with the utmost ease and control. Also, you will not catch an edge ever again when sliding due to the lifted nose and tail and the 3' bevel. The twin shape offers full maneuverability from regular to switch so you can develop those technical tricks you have always been working on. Start stomping those hard technical tricks when bonking or jibbing any handrail, staircase, box, or man-made or natural objects with the WWW Rocker and you will be stoked at how effortless it was!

  • Pros:  super fun, nice flex, super soft
  • Cons:  little shakey at high speed,

Experience:   Great board, fun for small jumps and playing round in the park, butters great, couldnt realy fault it for a park board, didnt ride the halfpipe on it but i can imagin it would suck for it as it would be to soft. board feels similar to the Capita horroscope in my oppinion. if u havent ridern one of these flexy boards i sugest you try one, loads of fun to be had!!!

"Fun board" 10/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: K2 WWW Rocker
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Rails
  • Pros:  Soft, Great on jibs, Durable Base
  • Cons:  Shaky at high speeds,

Experience:   First thing, this board lasts a long time even though you jib rocks etc. It's great learning new tricks on rails and boxes but not as stable on bigger jumps and high speeds. When i compared this with my sierrascope, the only difference was that this board was more controlled on jibs. it had less pop than an FK RC and was less stable. overall, fun board though.

"Find the Inner Jibber in You" 11/5/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: K2 WWW Rocker
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  Boxes,Rails
  • Pros:  Soft, Buttery, Easy to Ride,
  • Cons:  Performance is limited to the jib park,

Experience:   The WWW is the board that got me into jibbing years ago and it is still one of the most sought-after boards in its category. This is for the guy who plans on spending every minute in the jib park or street. This board is not designed for the guy that needs all mountain performance. MAKE SURE TO SIZE DOWN!! The WWW has a longer effective edge and smaller nose/tail than most boards of comparable size. This allows you to ride it a few cm's smaller than your typical board without losing edge and stability. If you are looking for a soft and buttery board for park sessions I have no doubt that you will be stoked on this just as so many others have been in the past.

  • Pros:  Buttery, Really soft, Rail killer
  • Cons:  Unstable at high speed,

Experience:   The www rocker is amazing if you find yourself riding the terrain park at your resort a lot, it really flexible and is forgiving during riding, and the rocker of it helps you max out your presses on boxes and rails. I wouldn't take the board down huge kickers but small and medium jumps should be okay. Overall its a great board, really soft, kills it in the jib section. Nice board for your quiver.

  • Name: K2 WWW Rocker
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Rails
  • Pros:  Soft, Low maintenance base, Forgiving
  • Cons:  Really soft base,

Experience:   My bro has this board and he loves it, I borrowed it once for a lap in the park and was surprised to how easily initiating turns was on this thing, maintaining turns however, carving, on this snowboard is a challenge. And a couple of weeks of using it the edge ripped off on the heel side right under both bindings, bummer

"Bang for your jib buck!" 7/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: K2 WWW Rocker
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Rails
  • Pros:  Jib Rocker (Flat Between The Bindings), Generous Waist Width, Easy To Play On
  • Cons:  Extruded Base (Not Really A Con!),

Experience:   Recently rode this board with my Union Data bindings. Having never ridden a rocker board, it was fun to go play in some slushy & choppy conditions with a loose feeling ride! A little more flexible than I am used to, I did notice some stutter while turning sharply on rougher terrain. The jib rocker appears to be the most redeeming feature of this jib stick, making riding in and out of switch a breeze. I did find pulling up at the bottom of a run a little more effort than on a camber board, but the fun on the way down far out weighs this drawback. Reasonably stable feel while picking up speed, the WWW makes you work if things start to get a little sketchy! The extruded base may seem like a negative, however for a ride that you can blast around the park on, then hang up and forget come season's end, its gotta be the goto ride for those who trash their decks!
