Qualities: Popular on the mountain
Likes: Great technology and not overpriced like some other brands... Wide variety and selection of boards available. Great bang for the buck and great customer service. Although the topsheets of their boards tend to ding easily, the boards themselves are nimble yet very durable (in my opinion)
Dislikes: Graphics and Topsheet quality can be something that can be improved....

Likes: Great selection, from beginner to advanced skiers. I have K2 Velocity skis which are all mountain and have a narrow waist, allows me to quickly transition between turns. Also have the K2 Rival Pro helmet, which hugs my noggin better and is more comfortable than my Red helmet.
Dislikes: Some of the graphics are quite ugly.

Likes: Probably the best of the giant supercorp snow companies. I appreciate the fact they have seperate entities for their crap snow stuff (Lamar, Liquid) but their quality stuff is in the K2, Line and Volkl brands. They don't do anything exceptional in my opinion, just everything all around good. I've liked my K2 boards, their bindings are okay and their boots are solid. Plenty of selection from this company though.
Dislikes: Bindings are kinda uncomfortable and hard. I much prefer other bindings over theirs'.

Likes: providers of some sick nasty products in the snow world. I have demoed some of their boards and have really liked them. the board construction is very good and dependable. also the clothing line is very reiable because they have great breathable and waterproof materials that make up their great outer wear.
Dislikes: Price can be a little up there.

Likes: Though they were primarily known as a ski company, K2 has really come on strong in the snowboard business. Their boards are quality and the price tag is reasonable. They also make quality helmets, bindings and boots, especially for the price.

Likes: K2 is one of the better brands in the industry. They have been making gear for as long as I have been around. Last year for my trick out west I bought a board bag from K2. It was very durable and didn't show any signs of wear from the loading and unloading, especially since I'm sure airport employees in the backroom don't treat bags very well.

Likes: brand that's been around for a while, but has recently stepped up their game and put out some good quality, popular products. a brand that puts out some pretty good products is how i'd sum it up.

Likes: Up until last year I hated K2. They were synonymous with "crap" in my opinion. NOw, they have made leaps and bounds toward moving in the right direction. Their 2009 line up was absolutely killer. I actually thought about buying a K2 board this year because they are so affordable and the quality is on par with other high quality brand names.

Likes: I ride a 2011 Turbo Dream 159. So far ridden it on (one of the rare) Aussie powder day and a more typical Aussie hard pack/spring slush day. Loved it in both, super forgiving with the All-Terrain Rocker. Can go faster than ever on hard pack without fear of catching an edge. In the pow, just lean back and the nose sits right up and allows you to carve on the tail. Can't wait to get this bad boy to Gulmarg in January 2011... It also appears to have reasonable pop for a flatline/reverse camber board, easily enought to allow to pop over 2ft high obstacles.
I also ride an older 155 WWW in the park. Not super experienced on it yet but it appears to be pretty good.
Dislikes: At first I didn't live the graphics but I've grown to love them now, so much detail and fairly unique looking. Riding it in the spring snow last week, I did notice that the board lacked a bit of esge hold (compared to my 3 year old 159 K2 Podium) in slushier snow - the result being a hilarious, slow motion fall. Apart from that I can't fault it.

Likes: Great product line up that has built itself up from a strong foundation of skiing. Their boards are great and the selection is nicely varied. The slayblade stands out, as a very good all mountain board. Their binding technology is also top notch. The auto line up is great and it has developed itself very well to become a fast, reliable and efficient binding setup. Highly recommended and i could not say anything better for such a great brand.

Likes: I like K2 snowboards and learned to ride on an Eldorado. It's durable and performs well, even after 4 seasons. A little epoxy here and there helps, too. I also don't worry about anyone taking this board at the resort. Can't wait to try some of their rockered boards. The turbo dream looks sweet.
