  • Pros:  Flex, Traction, Handcrafted
  • Cons:  Pricy,

Experience:   Great board! Did demo it last winter in park. It has great flex which gives you a lot of pop. The magne traction gives youna grip that may be a little tricky on rails. However it's amazing board, a little bit pricy but worth it!

"Great Board" 2/13/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Lib Tech Banana Magic Enhanced BTX Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Magne Traction, Butter Ability, Playfulness

Experience:   I demo'd this board today and what can I say, it was amazing! This board makes butters easy as pie, haha and it also has a great amount of pop in it. Spins are a piece of cake, and the magne traction edges grip even when bombing icy black diamonds. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this, now if I only had the extra cash...

"Best DEMO ever" 10/31/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Lib Tech Banana Magic Enhanced BTX Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  little more flex than stand. NANA, More stable at speeds, Edgehold
  • Cons:  price, (worth every penny though),

Experience:   I currently own 2 Bananas (and 3 Burton boards), unfortunately this is not one of the two Bananas. I had a chance to demo this board and O.M.G., The only cons of the reg. banana was it was squirrly at speed and poor landing. This has fixed the largest portion of those two problems. Amazing. If you have the extra cash and already experienced the Banana , Then get this board.

  • Name: Lib Tech Banana Magic Enhanced BTX Snowboard Men's

  • Pros:  Traction, Flex, Speed
  • Cons:  Price,

Experience:   I demoed this board a couple of days ago at Vail and it was amazing... I have a Skate Banana [which i love] but this board fills all the gaps that the SB lacks. It was fantastic for charging down the mountain and did well in the powder. I ventured into the park and took the biggest kicker there and it excelled. If i had the cash iw ould buy this board :-(

  • Name: Lib Tech Banana Magic Enhanced BTX Snowboard Men's

  • Pros:  Very light, snappy, a lot of pop,

Experience:   I have demoed the 2011 Banana Magic this spring at Mt. Hood Meadows, with a pair of 2011 Gnu Mutant bindings. My first rocker board, I found it to be very light, with a lot of pop, all in all a great board to be on. A piece of advice for newcomers, especially to the ones who have not tried rocker technology yet, be careful when you do your transitions; its pop may plant you face down very easily! As a result, I have purchased the new 2012 Banana Magic, with the new Gnu Mutant bindings and 2012 Thirty Two Ultralight boots. I can't wait to try them on!!! I am not a park rider, so I can't provide my 2 cents for that.

  • Pros:  edge hold, flexible,
  • Cons:  expensive,

Experience:   Demo'd this board last ski trip, I usually ride a sierra stunt, and this board absolutely annihilated it. If only it wasn't so expensive. But i guess you get what you pay for. If i could afford this board i would buy it in a heartbeat, loved riding it. Great flexibility and edge hold, just such a versatile board.

  • Name: Lib Tech Banana Magic Enhanced BTX Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Pros:  edge hold , flex, versatility
  • Cons:  graphic, price,

Experience:   this is hands down THE best board i have ever owned or rode. this board is soooo versatile! the edge hold on this thing is amazing. i ride on the icy east coast so i should know. it can jib, jump, butter, do the groomers, and even some powder. just basically anything that you can think of to do on a snowboard this thing will get the job done. the only downside of this board is the price and i dont know what the guys at lib-tech were thinking when they put that graphic on the top of the board, but it just goes to show that you dont buy a board based on the way it looks, you buy a board on how it rides and this board rides great. i love this board and would recommend this to someone that just does everything on the mountain.

"Super Fun Board" 2/15/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Lib Tech Banana Magic Enhanced BTX Snowboard Men's
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  Lots of Pop, Very Light, Stable Enough
  • Cons:  Pricey, Graphics,

Experience:   First off I just want to say that this board is SUPER LIGHT. This is my 2nd season and before I'd been renting the 140 Burton LTR and this board in 152 feels half the weight of it. All the weight feels like it is on the bindings making the board super easy to control. Also this is rockered in the middle with camber at the tips making it super poppy and easy to butter. It's pretty stable at speed. It did get squirrely a few times in icey choppy conditions on bumps but other than that it was stable. This board was alot more flexy than I thought it would be. It's rating of a 6 flex felt lower than that. I would recommend this board for beginners to use for all mountain and would expect advanced riders to use this more for freestyle
