Nitro Haze

This item is currently out of stock. (0)

Sierra Says: A great introduction to park riding, the Haze is a mellow, yet bulletproof twin board that is designed to help riders learn new tricks. Jumping, jibbing, and buttering will be easier than ever before. Master the progression park this season with the Haze.

Nitro Says: The new haze is our low maintenance twin that is ultra soft with low camber and our Powercore to give it that poppy lightweight feel. The radial sidecut makes it easy to go from turns on the groomers to hitting jumps in the park. It blows your mind how much board you get for your buck and how fast your riding will step up.

"Great when its whole!" 5/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Nitro Haze
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,Jibs,Low Speeds
  • Pros:  Tremendous Flex, Lightweight, Handles rails with ease
  • Cons:  Chattery at high speed, Tendency to break in half,

Experience:   Short and Sweet: -Stacks of flex, way moreso than the cheaptrick -Light as anything, cant feel it hanging off your foot on the lifts after a long day -Only issue is mucking around with nose rolls with a set of K2 Sonic bindings managed to fracture just in front of the front binding, right across the board. Got it replaced on warranty but got told that if it happened again they'd blame either me or the bindings. I've just grabbed a set of both union contacts and sierra contact SL's but havent tried either yet this season. Still, great fun board!

"Park Dreams come true" 1/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Nitro Haze
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Boxes,Rails
  • Pros:  Poppy and Lightweight, Great on rails,

Experience:   This board is a BLAST! When I first got on it I was expecting a totally different ride than I got. I was really happy to get on a board I could really butter onto boxes and rails. Its snappy, but with the perfect flex for all the boxes and rails at any resort or backyard handrail.

"Nitro Haze 2010" 1/29/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Nitro Haze
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Carving,Groomers,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Off Trail
  • Pros:  very flexible, sturdy, stylish
  • Cons:  not designed for big jumps,

Experience:   After reading reviews, I was somewhat worried that this board might be too much of a noodle. Luckily, it really isn't. I ride this all over the park and even took it to the backcountry and although it is super flexy, it is very stable. My riding has improved significantly because it's just so much easier to get this board to do what you want. I have also read that the base scratches up easily, but I have been on rails with minimal scratching. The one negative thing I will say is that you really can't take this board on massive kickers. I know many have said that this is a beginner board and is priced in that range as well, I personally think it's a definant step above that.

"Sick for park" 3/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Nitro Haze
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Rails
  • Pros:  flexible, sick on rails, nice price
  • Cons:  not great for large jumps,

Experience:   Sick board for the park, rails and jibs and such. Pretty durable considering i usually ride a 154 and i got a 149, which works perfect for messing around in the park.

  • Pros:  very flexy,
  • Cons:  cracks easily,

Experience:   this board was great for the first 6hrs of riding. i did butters like a god..after that 6hrs i pressed a box with a 3ft drop..landed slightly on the tail and it cracked instantly...not sure if it was a defective board but not held together very well.
