Sierra Says: The Team Series captures pieces of every riding style and combines them into a jack of all trades snowboard. Catch pillow lines in the morning and lap the park when it gets chopped up. Take first chair to the peak and carve the corduroy on your way to the Stash. Everything is fair game with the Team. This board is stable at any speed, is responsive without being too catchy, and is not too difficult to ride. This board is probably too aggressive for most beginners, but any solid intermediate or advanced rider should have no problem shredding this board around the mountain.

Nitro Says: The Team series has taken the combined effort of our riders like Bryan Fox and Josh Mills to design a board that kills it year after year. The concept behind the team series was to build a lightweight do it all freestyle board that can handle any condition you throw at it. The powercore provides huge pop for flat ground tricks and stability for choppy landings. The dual degressive sidecut makes it easy to spin off jumps and prevents hooking in landings. It has a directional shape that comes in both standard and wide landings.

Base color may very.

"Nice resort board" 4/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Nitro Team
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,Jumps,Low Speeds
  • Pros:  Fun to ride!, Good for progressing riders,
  • Cons:  Not great on the steeps,

Experience:   Borrowed this board from a friend and liked it for easy resort riding. It was a little softer than I expected and seemed a little unstable when I wanted to really crank up the speed but I'm not content with high-speed - I like to go Mach 5. The tail was snappy but I'd be wary of landing big jumps on the back end. Decent results in the park, was able to press a bit but jibs aren't really my thing. I would highly recommend this board for an intermediate rider that wants to push a little harder on the in-bounds runs but for steep backcountry lines I'd look for something stiffer.

"Great board for advanced all mountain jibbers" 10/25/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Nitro Team
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Use:  High Speeds,Park
  • Pros:  Very fast with good control, butters with ease, great pop
  • Cons:  wide waist makes it slow edge to edge,

Experience:   If you're into high speeds on the groomers and throwin down innovative rail tricks in and out of the park than this board has the perfect balance for your style. This a great ultra aggressive board for advanced riders who need one board that can do it all. Go to www.boardchatter.com to see an analysis of this board vs. the Burton Custom V Rocker, K2 Parkstar, GNU Rider's Choice and Never Summer Legacy R. This board is the best of the bunch and is less expensive than the others. Great Ride y'all!

"I'm in love!" 7/21/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Nitro Team
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Park,Powder,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Good Flex, Fast, Durable
  • Cons:  None!,

Experience:   This was the board i was looking for! I live for booters and backcountry/freeride, this deck does it all, and very well! I would call this board a mid-flex(5.5 or 6/10). I can go off trail for a cliff drop, head over to the groomers for some big air, and ride away smoothly to go kill it in the park. Just a tad bit stiffer than the rome agent/slash. Not your super flexy park board but definitely an all mountain slayer. Definitely worth giving a try.

"All around board" 6/16/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Nitro Team
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Jibs,Jumps,Low Speeds,Off Trail
  • Pros:  Easy to control at low speeds, Decent park board,
  • Cons:  Chatter at high speed, Not so great at turning,

Experience:   My friend and I swapped boards for a day so I was able to take his nitro team for a spin. Its a very versatile camber board thats suitted for most terran. A fast board, but at the high speed its hard to hold an edge when shredding. This thing flys off jumps, but I found that the landings did not feel as solid as my board. Overall its a good all around board for the intermediate rider.

"Capable all-mountain ride" 6/16/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: Nitro Team
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Rides like a soft custom, Excellent grip on fresh groomers,
  • Cons:  Lacks stability at high speeds,

Experience:   If you like the cambered Burton Custom, but want board is ever so slightly softer, then look no further then the Nitro Team. It rides very much like the Custom but is more playful due to its softer nature. That is its plus and negative. Its more forgiving in the park, but looses some of the Customs stability at speeds. Pop is good as expected from a camber board. Edging and carving on fresh groomers was fantastic especially after a season of riding reverse camber boards. Camber is the new black! As with many other nitro boards, the board is light, but topsheet has shown more signs of wear then other brands.
